Dream pov:

Mondays. I hate Mondays. I get woken up by my
alarm clock blasting Rick Ashley 'never gonna give
you up.' I swear I am going to kill Nick. He changed
it the last time he had my phone.

Today is my first day of senior year. I thought it
was supposed to feel more special, but it feels like
any other school day to me. Once I'm up, I get
dressed, in my classic green hoodie, and black
ripped jeans.

I throw on some air forces as I leave my front door.
It's later than I normally leave my house, which is
why I didn't have breakfast. Once I get in my car, I
start it and begin driving.

Soon enough I'm at porchino high. I'm glad to
finally be leaving this place, it looks so worn out.
The bricks are coming off of the cafeteria walls, and
the pavement is covered by a thin layer of moss.
Looks like it's from a horror movie.

I start looking around for my best friend. Nick. We
were on the phone last night, and decided on
meeting up at the front of the parking lot, and
walking into school together. He said something
'like last year dude, means last first time walking
into school on the first day'

I see him waving me over, and he is talking to
someone already. He is a brunette with long
enough hair to curl, but not look messy. He is
wearing a purple sweatshirt with a swirl in the
middle. It looks good, I'll have to compliment him
on that.

They are watching me as I go towards them. 'Please
look away it's so awkward'. The prolonged eye
contact I am somehow holding with both of them is
killing me on the inside.

Finally I get to them. "Hey mamas" Nick says in his
catchphrase tone."Hi Nickypoo" I say, and
instantly regretting because of the look of the boy
that can't be older than 18 standing besides Nick
gives me. "And you must be?" I extend the letter 'e
to make it a question.

"That's Karl, I saw him sitting alone and waved him
over." Karl looks at me awkwardly and waves. I
chuckle at his nervous antic. "Hello I'm Clay, sorry
for Nick he is way too awake for this ungodly hour.'
I joke around. Nick was always one to be hyper.

Nick scoffs at my remark. I stare at the ground like
it is the most beautiful thing in the world until
Karl's voice brings me out of my somewhat trance.
"We should get going, talk to you guys later."

I didn't notice the bell, but apparently it went off.
We all say our good-byes and head to our classes in
different directions. Me and karl ended up going in
the same direction, it was silent between the both
of us. I was focused on the floor with my hands in
my pockets, when I feel someone bump into me.

my pockets, when I feeI someone pump Into me.
When I look up I see a beautiful girl, she is a
brunette with casual looking clothes. Sweats and a
sweatshirt. We stare into each others eyes as she
mutters a quick sorry before heading to class.

This happened all the time, girls purposely
bumping into me, just because I'm popular or
whatever.

(Clay is getting on my nerves rn)

I've never been interested in any of them though
which is weird because most of them are really
beautiful girls. I shake my head of this thought and
jog a little to catch up with Karl.

I arrived at my first period, and I am already bored.
My eyes are practically glued to the clock on the
wall behind the teachers desk, while she is talking
about the rules that this school follows.
