Monty looked at me as if i just said something incredibly wrong.
"what? am i not allowed to have favorites?"
he looked away, "well. no of course you can have favorites. i like being your favorite"
"you do?"
If robots could blush this man would 100% look like a full on tomato. he stayed quiet for a second
"Monty? are you okay?"
"very. hey don't forget about the show tonight. I've been telling music man all about you"
"music man?"
"you don't know music man?"
"no, we've never met."
"more the reason to go."
"I'll be there. should I change at all?"
"If you want to. it's nothing too exciting. just me and music man"
"I'd say that's very exciting."
"your life must be boring"
I laughed. "you help make it less boring."
"you keep flirting with me like that and Ill make it way more exciting."
oh. now i was the one blushing.
"look at you, so embarrassed. don't worry doll, i don't mean a word."
I had a feeling he did in fact mean every word.
looking away i said "i should probably go change. my shift ends soon, I'll be at your thing"
"good. i want you to be there"
I walked away and as i did i ran my fingers under his chin. "oh I'll be there."
as soon as he thought i wouldn't hear he broke something on the ground and screamed "FUCK YEAH"

When I got home, i put on clothes that were fancy but in a hot way, yk? definitely more dance clothes, but they fit me perfectly.
I wanted something to get attention, in complete honesty. attention from monty. but clearly that's something i don't have to fight for

I get there and get everything in order. I'm let in free because I work here, obviously.
I get in and things are getting set up but quite a few people are there, mostly in the arcade. I sit down on one of the nearby couches.
the show starts and a bunch of people are there. I stand in an unnoticeable spot but still enjoy it. music man jamming out and Monty going along with him.
he winks at a group of girls and smiles at them.
I try my best not to think about it and enjoy myself.
