It's been a few days since you and zenitsu got stuck together now.

You still had no idea about the others but you could only hope they were still alive and doing well.

They should be fine, they are strong and you admire that about them.

Nezuko was also on your mind, since you haven't seen her yea you knew Tanjiro would do anything to protect her but you couldn't help but worry.

Zenitsu and you had more bonding time which was nice for the both of you.

Yea he would throw in some flirty comments here and there, hoping you'd notice and you did, just didn't say anything about that.

Both of you were close to the city of Tokyo you estimated it would only take about a day or two, to get there.

And hopefully, by then the guys would also be there.

You guys stumbled against some people here and there but half the time it was just you and him.

As to Sabito, you haven't felt his presence in a while, he probably got tired of looking after you, you felt a little relief since you could do anything without feeling him judging you.

Zenitsu has been going through a crisis in silence.

He likes being alone with you it's not that he could make it more clear, he knew that you knew that he enjoyed your presence.

But you never did or said anything about it and that is what bothered him.

Is there a specific reason why you don't say or do anything about it?

Is there something he did wrong? Or something that made you feel uncomfortable?

Or is there someone else that doesn't let you take an action on to what he is doing.

The thought of there being someone else behind this bothered him a lot.

He couldn't express how much that bothered him, while you two walked to Tokyo all he thought about was who that person could be if that was the reason.

There could be so many, Tanjiro, Inosuke, that guy that you called darling, or maybe it was him? He could cause you to be nervous and that's why you never said anything!

As he thought about how he could be the reason that you don't say anything he felt happy, he didn't realize when he started smiling like a fool.

But you did notice and were looking at him weirdly.

"Zenitsu stop smiling like an idiot," he heard you say he shook his head and just laughed quietly as he realized he got caught smiling.

"Heh," was the only thing that came out of his mouth you rolled your eyes playfully and continued walking.

The lights you had seen on the hill started to look close meaning that you two were almost there.

"Look! we are almost there y/n-Chan!" Zenitsu said shaking you a bit, yea he was excited to visit Tokyo with you but he wasn't excited about the fact that the other two would be there too.

You just smiled and nodded at his enthusiasm
It was always adorable to see someone get excited over something as simple as that.

Especially if they were a guy, you always found that cute since a young age too! Your friend would always do that too until you didn't see him anymore.

But that didn't matter right now.

You shook your head to let go of the bad thoughts and you looked at zenitsu.
