Tayla wakes up to Rafe still holding her by the waist. As she turns over he starts to open his eyes slowly. She pushes the hair out of his face to get a better look at his blue eyes. "Do you feel better?" his voice lower and raspier than usual.
She couldn't help but smile at his concern "I'm okay babe, thank you for staying with me".
"I'm always here for you, always" Rafe looks into his girlfriend's eyes with sincerity. Tayla puts her head into the crook of his neck for warmth.
Not even ten seconds later, Rafe's bedroom door bursts open. Sarah barges in without knocking "Oh... hey guys".
Rafe pulls the covers up more to cover them both "Jesus Sarah, what the hell?".
"Calm down, I've seen you both naked before" Sarah says as she stands there a little too confidently.
"What if we were fucking though?" Tayla sits up, covering her chest with one of the sheets.
Rafe turns his head over to her, stunned by her words and trying not to laugh. "Ew, you guys don't do that" Sarah states in denial.
Tayla laughs "I hate to break it to you but we have sex Sarah".
Sarah looks visibly disgusted, trying not to gag at her best friend's comment. "Tay!" Rafe's face turns red with embarrassment.
"What? I'm just being honest with my best friend, it's not like I'm elaborating on how hard you rail me or anything".
Sarah plugs her ears and runs out of the room "EW!".
Rafe covers his face "Why in the hell would you do that?".
Tayla chuckles lightly "It got her out of the room, didn't it?". They both laugh as he turns to her, pushing her back to lay down on the bed. He attacks her with kisses all over her face.
Shortly after, Rafe and Tayla went down to the kitchen to get some breakfast. Wheezie comes down just as Rafe finishes cooking the eggs and you help plate them. "Hey! Where are my eggs?" the younger girl whines.
Rafe chuckles dryly "You snooze you lose".
Tayla elbows him in the abdomen "Ow!" he yelps in pain and rubs his side.
"Here you can have mine" she gives her plate to Wheezie and gets some frozen fruit out of the freezer for a smoothie. "You're lucky my girlfriend is nice"
Tayla couldn't help but grin that he called her his girlfriend. She was Rafe Cameron's girlfriend. Rafe looked over slightly, seeing the happiness come over her. He knew why and he was happy about it too.
Wheezie scoffs "You're lucky I don't break you two up based on your attitude" with confidence she snatches some egg off of her fork. Rafe dramatically drops his jaw in awe of his little sister's words.
"He's working on it, right babe?" Tayla asks as she wraps her arms around his neck, making him turn to face her.
"Mhm" he mumbles and pecks her puckered lips.
Wheezie laughs at her brother's obedience "Wow, she can really make you do anything".
Rafe turns his head quickly "Keep talking and your little crush on a certain friend of mine will be exploited".
Tayla's eyes widen "Oh my god, Topper?".
Wheezie's face immediately turns bright red "Shut up! It's not true!". As she notices the couple in front of her try to keep from laughing, she walks away with her eggs.
"That's so cute" Tayla giggles, they both watch the girl stomp away.
"I wouldn't tell him" Rafe tells her seriously.
She looks up and smiles at him "I know".
She then looks down, obviously in thought about something. Rafe reads her face "What's up?".
Tayla thinks to herself a little longer and then speaks up "Did you... have a crush on me? You know... before all of this?".
Just as he was about to answer, the front door opens, and out comes Kelce. Seeming to be in a hurry, he walks in and leaves the door open "Guys I'm sorry to bust in here like this but I need to ask you for a favor". The two look at each other in confusion.
Rafe looks back at Kelce, moving his hand to the small of Tayla's back "Okay...? What's up?".
Kelce goes back to the front door and as he walks toward them again, he has a little girl resting on his hip. "Soooo... this is Sadie, I need you guys to watch her for the day because I have a competition to go to".
Before Tayla could respond she looks over at her much taller boyfriend. With nothing more than a blank stare, he just stood there, not really moving all that much. She looks back to Kelce "Why do you have a random little girl to watch over all of a sudden?".
He scoffs in response "This is my little sister, thanks for paying attention to my life guys".
Tayla makes a face of surprise as Rafe finally speaks up "Why us?".
Kelce looks back at him "My parents are out of town and Topper is too irresponsible, it would be good practice for you guys anyway".
Rafe laughs and shakes his head, thinking that would never happen. He didn't see himself ever becoming a father due to his relationship with Ward. His reaction hurt Tayla, as he shook his head she frowned. "We'll take her" she went over and took Sadie from Kelce's arms.
She wanted to let Rafe get comfortable with the idea of kids. Once again, he stood there with no emotion anywhere on his face. "Thanks, I owe you one for sure, if you guys need anything text me" Kelce says as he crept out the door.

As the door closes, Tayla bounces Sadie slightly while holding her "How old are you, Sadie?".
She looked toward both Tayla and Rafe shyly "I'm dis many" putting up two fingers. Rafe couldn't help but smile a little.
