I wake up before Bucky and instantly head to my room to get ready "why are we sneaking out? Everyone knows you two are together" Venom says "I'm not sneaking out, I want to run before I start our research. We need to figure out why the symbiotes are coming" I say "I know why, we all do. They want hosts" Venom adds "I am aware of that but why here? Only because you came? There must be more to this" I say opening my drawers and pulling out some gym clothes "I came and never turned back, we do our research before setting off to a random planet. Your planet has the best compatibility for us, it's not common but I'm sure I'm not the only one here" Venom says and I sigh "and if they all come they're going to have to do whatever they have to do, even if it takes us down with the rest" I say getting changed "there's got to be another way, if they separate the symbiote from the body then they can be trapped and sent back home" Venom suggests "and then they would just come back angrier" I say
"They will know that humans are a bigger threat, they won't come back" Venom replies, I exit my room making my way outside and then running off "and what makes you so sure?" I ask "we want hosts but if you know how to get rid of us, why would we want to stay? We want secure hosts not hosts that would kick us out whenever they wanted, showing that you know our weakness would scare them away" Venom says "now we just have to find them" I say "that's the hardest part" Venom says, I let out a groan and run directly into someone causing me to fly backwards and land on my ass "you okay?" Steve asks offering a hand which I instantly take "sorry I was um distracted" I say tapping my head "I can tell" Steve says with a laugh "are you and Bucky alright?" Steve asks and I frown "I went past his room last night and heard you guys" Steve explains himself and I sigh "he's jealous" I say and begin to jog again with Steve by my side "because we used to um be intimate?" Steve asks and I nod "have you explained that we stopped long before the two of you did?" Steve asks
"I did, he seems to be alright now. He's acc more vulnerable than I expected him to be" I say "he's never actually been in a relationship before, I'm guessing he's just scared of you walking away" Steve says "I won't walk away unless he makes me, I have a lot of patience Steve but I will not tolerate disrespect. He's always been sweet, if he changes now that we are actually dating it will say a lot about him" I say "do you want me to talk to him?" Steve asks and I shake my head "oh god no, if he thinks I'm bitching to you about him it will only make things worse" I say "you are right" Steve says with a laugh "I'll deal with him" I say "okay" Steve says "you want to get some coffee with me later? I went to this nice coffee shop the other day that I think you would love, and they have amazing chocolate pastries for Venom" Steve says "yes yes yes yes yes yes" Venom says over and over again
"I would love to, meet you out here in an hour?" I ask and he nods, I walk into my room to see Bucky laying on my bed while reading my book "hey babe" I say walking ove to him and kissing him softly "hey doll, where did you sneak off to?" Bucky asks with a smile "I went on a run, bumped into Steve and we're going to get coffee" I say, Bucky looks into my eyes for a few seconds "I'm going to shower" I say pulling my top over my head and walking into the bathroom, I take my clothes off and peak out to see Bucky looking "join me?" I ask, he smiles and instantly joins me while undressing himself so fast making me laugh way too hard. Bucky pushes me under the shower and kisses me aggressively while pulling me closer to his body, I am breathless and he spins me around attacking my neck with kisses before spinning me back around and picking me up, slamming me against the wall
"I am so late" I say going through my clothes trying to find something to wear, Bucky walks over to me and kisses my bare shoulder "You're so beautiful" Bucky whispers, I turn around with a smile as he pulls me into a kiss "I do have to go tho" I whisper, Bucky pouts but goes back to the bed and watches as I get ready "I'll find you when I come home" I say pecking his lips and running out of the room, I meet Steve outside who looks at me with a very funny look on his face "sorry my shower took a little long" I say laughing, Steve joins me "the shower, yes" he mocks me and I shove him a little "what was his reaction when you told him you were going out with me?" Steve asks opening the coffee shop door for me, I give him a smile as we walk in "he gave a quick look" I say "and then you distracted him by inviting him to your shower" Steve adds, Venom laughs and I join him "maybe" I say innocently also making Steve laugh "you did" he says and I nod "sometimes that's all I gotta do to shut him up" I say with a shrug
"I wouldn't allow him to even try and make me stop talking to you, I lived that way for 15 years" I say "makes sense" Steve says "did you know about the nightmares?" I ask, Steve nods "he doesn't like talking about them not even when I was just trying to help him" Steve replies "it's the first time I've seen him actually have them" I say "he sleeps better with you, he's said that before" Steve says "is it weird me talking about him to you?" I ask, Steve looks into my eyes "We're friends, it will never be weird" Steve says and I nod "so when you bumped into me earlier you were speaking to Venom right?" Steve asks and I nod "I'm not actually crazy Steve" I say with a laugh, Steve shakes his head but also laughs "yes I am aware of that, but I'm guessing you were talking about the mission?" Steve asks and I nod "Venom has a theory" I say "it's not a theory it's very much accurate" Venom says and I roll my eyes "what did he say?" Steve asks
"He says it's not a theory, anyways, he's sure that if we use super sonic sounds and fire which are their real weakness we can easily scare them away. Venom says that they won't want to remain in a place where they can be pushed around so easily" I say "I think he's right" Steve says "of course I'm right" Venom responds "Venom cut the cocky bullshit" I say making Venom growl clearly annoyed "and what if they decide that they want to go to war with us instead, from what I've seen everyone loves to rain war with the avengers" I say "you have a point" Steve says and I nod "regardless we didn't come here to discuss the mission did we?" I ask "no of course not" Steve replies with a laugh
The rest of the day was as great, Steve and I just bounce of each other no matter the conversation and it's great to have such a great friendship with him
