Chapter 45

I look at my hands feeling completely different but whole at the same time "what the hell was that?" I ask confused "you felt it too?" Bucky asks approaching me "yeah I did, Yelena?" I ask looking at my sister who nods, a portal suddenly appears revealing Dr Strange "Dr?" I ask "seems like you were snapped too?" He asks, he explains that Thanos managed to get all of the stones, that Thanos snapped all of us and apparently we have been gone for 5 whole years "you have got to be joking? Five whole years?" I ask "we need to go okay? The avengers need all of us, Thanos is back and he is back more vengeful than ever" Dr Strange says clearly annoyed "okay okay let's go" I reply, we all step through the portal which takes us to a destroyed compound

Spaceships take over the sky, the whole place is in pieces, I look around at all the other heroes standing behind Steve who looks beaten and bruised but ready for another fight but this time he knows he will not lose "We have to do whatever it takes to kill this thing" I whisper "whatever it takes" I whisper to myself, a war cry brings my attention back to the fight as we all charge towards Thanos' army. I run directly to Thanos while allowing Venom to take over my body "do you taste like grape?" I ask with a loud laugh as Venom attempts to rip him apart, only to get hit backwards literally sending us flying into the air and landing on our back "what a cunt" I groan while getting back up to my feet, Venom hid himself away "that hurt" Venom groans "you literally hid mid fall you idiot" I complain "what was I meant to do?" He yells "NOT HIDE" I yell

"Is she crazy?" Thanos asks "I got a parasite" I reply with a smirk "let me ask you darling" Thanos says coming closer to me "why waste your time with humans when you have so much more out there, with me" Thanos says "yeah I don't think so, I happen to like wasting my time with humans" I say with a little smile "plus, I don't take orders from someone who relies on stones to be powerful. What are you without the stone huh?" I ask "just a stupid purple giant man, you are nothing without them. And you are hated by the whole world, how fucking sad is that you Mad freaking Titan" I rant, he laughs before punching me backwards once again this time I land directly onto Bucky feet "you just had to piss him off?" Bucky asks and I nod, he offered me his metal hand before pulling me up. The metal hand? It's Vibranium, strongest metal.

"I have a crazy idea" I say, I look at my metal arm, Bucky stares for a second before shaking his head "the stones will kill you" Bucky raises his voice "or it will just stick to the metal arm and allow me to use it" I say "plus I got Venom and way more super serums than I can count" I say, Bucky looks away shaking his head. I grab his face with both my hands and look into his eyes "Bucky freaking Barnes, you know I will do this with your blessing or not" I say, he rolls his eyes but nods "listen to me okay?" I whisper, he nods again "I love you, more than anything is this world. And to think that I was lucky enough to be loved back by you makes the past 30 whatever years count, I have to do whatever it takes. And you're going to live an amazing life" I say "don't say goodbye" Bucky whispers "it's not goodbye" I say kissing him one last time "I love you" Bucky whispers with tears in his eyes, I look back and see Mr Stark and Thanos fighting and I can tell he has the same idea

"Venom, when I give you the signal. You get the hell out okay?" I say running towards them "you'll die" he says shocked "I will die regardless" I say "no" Venom adds "you will find another host" I say "promise me Venom, promise me you will jump" I yell "fine I promise" Venom replies "hey Thanos" I say with a smile, he looks over about to snap again but I grab his hand in protest. He throws me back, I get up slowly "I am inevitable" he says proudly, he snaps but nothing happens. I put my metal hand up, in pain as the power of the stones begin to shock through my body "and I am" I whisper "a bitch" I say with a small laugh, Venom jumps out and I finally snap. I let out a painful scream and fall to the floor, the avengers run towards me looking down in shock "that was epic" I croak out with one last smile while looking into Bucky's beautiful blue eyes one final time.
