Chapter 20

3 weeks later

"Are you out of your fucking mind?" I yell "how am I out of my mind? Look at the two of you" Bucky yells back "oh Steve is so amazing, Steve makes me happier than ever, Steve is such a great friend" Bucky mocks, I groan "you are so fucking childish, he is my damn friend. I am with you Bucky" I yell "clearly you're still with him too" Bucky says, I grab a flower vase and throw it at the wall next to him "you are acting like a spoilt brat" I yell

Third person

"Are they fighting again?" Peter asks looking around at the other avengers at the breakfast table "it's been going like this since they came back from the mission" Natasha replies "never been this loud though" Sam adds, they all share a look then look over at Steve who looks extremely guilty "this isn't on you Steve" Wanda says and he just sighs

Angelina's POV

"This is absolutely bullshit, I refuse to let you try and take over my life Bucky. I am a grown woman" I say "then act like it" Bucky replies and I shake my head "this here, this is bullshit. I will not keep having this same fight with you" I yell "I am tired of fighting" I say sitting down on the bed, Bucky stares at me "you promised you wouldn't give up on me" Bucky says "then stop making it so damn hard" I yell back "stop acting like everyone is trying to take me away, stop acting crazy" I yell "I act crazy because I am in love with you Angelina" Bucky yells, I freeze in place looking at his eyes "y-you what?" I ask "I love you and I have no idea how to deal with it" Bucky says, I sigh and walk over to him pulling him into a hug "I love you too" I whisper, I look up into his eyes "I could never give up on you" I say, Bucky gives me a smile before kissing me softly

A couple of hours later we are just laying in bed, Bucky playing with my hair while I trace figures over his bare chest "I don't like fighting" I whisper "me neither" Bucky replies "then let's just stop" I say looking up to meet his eyes "I agree" Bucky replies while smiling, a knock on the door catches our attention. I grab one of Bucky's shirt and throw it over my body before opening the door "hi Steve" I say smiling "oh it's Steve" Venom says excited "everything okay?" Steve asks obviously worried about the fight "yeah, is everything okay?" I ask "we have an update on the symbiotes situation" Steve says and I nod "we will meet you in the meeting room" I say with a smile and he nods "let me know if you need anything" Steve says "will do" I reply before he walks away, I walk back in the room and begin to look for my clothes which are scattered around

"Get up babe" I say "I would rather stay in here" Bucky smirks and I let out a laugh "here take this" I say taking his shirt off and throwing it at him before getting changed "they're waiting for us" I say "fine fine" Bucky complains while getting up, I watch him as he gets changed "you love me" I mock him "real funny" Bucky says and I wrap my arms around his neck with a smile "please, stop with the Steve jealousy" I say, Bucky rolls his eyes and I place small kisses around his face "I am with you, every single night and every single day, I love you and only you, you're the only one who gets all of me Buck" I say in between each kiss "I'll stop" Bucky whispers pulling me into a kiss while tightening the hug "now let's go" I say pulling away from the hug, I grab onto his head as we walk to the meeting room "screaming match over?" Sam asks "yes" I say rolling my eyes

"What's got you guys so riled up these past weeks anyways?" Rhodes asks and I raise an eyebrow "it doesn't matter" I say "can we just get on with the meeting?" Bucky asks "yes" Mr Stark replies "we found out that the symbiotes have gotten together and taken over a little town just outside of LA, we have all the information we need for the mission and thanks to Angel and Venom we know how to get rid of them" Mr Stark says "when do you leave?" I ask, all eyes are on me "as much as I want to be part of the mission, trust me. I cant be anywhere near it when it happens, I thought we knew that when we began this discussion" I say "I forgot about that" Rhodes says and I nod "we leave tonight" Mr Stark says and I nod "you guys need to be careful, these things are nothing like the things you have caught before. You need to be prepared and be safe" I say and they all nod "and what will you do?" Thor asks "probably bake" Steve replies "drink up the alcohol stash while half naked" Bucky laughs and I slap the back of his head "both actually" Wanda replies and I just laugh

A few hours later

I am standing outside while saying goodbye to the avengers "kick some ass for me" I say to Natasha and Wanda who hug me tight "don't over drink" Natasha warns "make some brownies" Wanda says excited just before they walk into the quinjet, Steve and Bucky approach me last "be safe both of you and for the love of god, don't kill each other when I'm not around" I say pulling them both into a hug "behave out there" I whisper "we will" they reply in unison, Steve gives me a final squeeze before stepping back allowing me and Bucky to just stand in each other's arms for another second "I love you" Bucky whispers before kissing me "I love you" I whisper trying to hold back tears, they walk to the quinjet and I wave them goodbye as they fly off. I finally allow the tears to roll down my face, they'll be back soon all of them
