"How long have we been here?" I ask Venom, we are laying down on my cell "V, do you feel that?" I whisper "just say the word" Venom says and I nod, Dr Frey appears and I pretend to feel weak even though I feel the strongest I have ever felt "take her into the lab" he says to the guards, they open the cell and drag me out, I let them, I can't show my strength just yet. They bring me to the lab and strap me up extra tightly expecting these to hold me back "it's been a month, did you think they would come?" Dr Frey asks "I didn't need them to come, I've been through this before" I say, a shock is sent through my body causing me to shake aggressively before letting out a laugh "god you are so fucking pathetic" I growl while ripping the straps that held me in place "you are weak" I say walking over to him and grabbing him by the neck using my metal arm
"Apparently Venom killed you last time huh?" I ask looking into his dull grey eyes "not this time, I want you to look into my eyes and I want this to be the last thing you see" I say, he does what he's told "I don't know how the hell you keep coming back and honestly I don't think I give a fuck" I say tightening my grasp "but remember this for when you come back from the dead again Dr Frey, your very own creation is what killed you" I say closing my fist entirely, ripping right through his neck, his head rolls to the floor and I drop his body "well done" Venom says smiling, the door opens and there stood over 100 guards with taser batons "V, your turn" I say with a malicious smile, Venom takes over my body and begin to eat his way out of the prison not leaving a single guard with their heads
We run out and yell happily, I look around and see the avengers, Venom gives my body back and I give a short bow "welcome to the fun superheroes" I say "oh you're like him" Sam says disgusted "Venom told me about you, you're the one with the stupid jokes are you not" I say "how are you so happy?" Natasha asks "I got to kill them all over again" I say "let's go home" Natasha says pulling me into a hug, I pull her even closer with a sigh "I'm sorry I took so long" she whispers with tears in her eyes "hey what's a month for someone who's been in prison for 15 years" I say with a smile "I'm okay" I say looking into her eyes, I pull away and someone else crashes into my body "oh hey" I say realising it's Bucky "I'm so sorry, I should've stayed" he whispers practically in tears "I was the one that told you to leave, they had one of us they didn't get to have both" I say brushing his hair away from his face, by his reaction I can tell that it was a behaviour I had picked up while we were together
"I'm sorry I just" I say beginning to move my hand, he grabs my hand with a sad smile and places it on his cheek "you had a um, a thing for my hair" he chuckle "let's go home" he whispers and I nod
We all return to the compound, i head straight to my room to have a shower "am I allowed to wet this thing?" I ask "or am I going to like rust?" I ask Venom "from what I have experienced living within you, Bucky had absolutely no problem with getting his arm a little wet" Venom says "come out here so I can slap you" I say embarrassed and venom just laughs loudly, I have my shower and head into the kitchen to grab something to eat. Bucky was baking? "Are you baking?" I ask with a laugh "big bad winter soldier baking brownies, I like that" I say stealing a brownie from the plate "well actually you taught me, said it relaxed you and well you were right" he says turning around completely covered in batter making me laugh, he is looking at me as I laugh "what?" I ask "it's just, your laugh" he says smiling "You know there was this one mission that you couldn't join, we were gone for like 3 days" Bucky begins
"We got home but you hadn't realised, you were singing very loudly with Venom while baking brownies and cookies. You were wearing just my black buttoned top that you had always loved wearing while dancing, I think maybe Peter might have the video" Bucky explains and I laugh along with him "I love making a fool out of myself then" I say "wasn't the first time I had caught you drunk singing in just a top" Bucky says "and what happened after?" I ask, Bucky's cheeks turn a bright red "seems like we did that a lot" I say "yeah, it was really good" Bucky says, I give him a smile "you know I probably will remember things eventually" I say hopeful "I hope so" Bucky says tucking a strand of hair behind my ear while looking into my eyes and leaning in, I don't stop him, I'm curious to feel his lips against mine and it's just as good as I had imagined it to be. He pulls away "I'm sorry I shouldn't have" he whispers while swallowing hard
"I want to remember you Bucky"
"I would go to hell and back to bring them back doll, and I will if that's what it takes"
"We will find a way"
"You should get some rest, I doubt you had any in that place" Bucky says and I nod "I heard from a little creature that we used to love to have drinks in the party room" I say and Bucky nods "want to get a drink tomorrow?" I ask "I would love to" Bucky replies with a beautiful smile across his lips
