He remembered when douma showed him how to kill that baby after he ate his mother the poor lady had run away from her monster of a husband into the hands of an even bigger monster however tanjiro didn't understand why he waited for the baby was born it could have been a 2 in 1 meal
Looking around he doubt he would find the useful information he needed at the moment with everyone mourning the now dead hashira. Douma better be greatful its very rare for him to be generous.

Coming to a closed door he was about to knock when a few or the hashira walked out of the room briefly pausing to look at him before walking off he heard a voice a short distance away from him"I swear these demons slayers are getting younger and younger" shaking his head silently at least I didn't need them to protect me from all the nasty demons. It's not like they could protect themselves Let alone complaining about age lowering for the corps. Simply more easy meals for the demons
instead of creating a training camp and working on building better fighters they just let anyone join if they pass the test.
Peaking his head through the door the room was empty there was nothing of worth inside he sighed quietly before wandering to the next room walking into an library type room tanjiro began looking at the spines pulling out a book with a flower design he flicked through the pages before pausing at the red spider lily page he quietly read the information before flicking to the next page nothing seemed to link to the blue spider lily or maybe the auther didn't know any information on the flower to make an entry. Slipping the book back in place he walked out and back into the front of the estate he can't leave yet he still needs a new sword but how long could that take? Last time his sword was ruined it took almost 2 weeks to be completed he doesn't have time to waste on waiting around a hashira estate especially after he was the one to send them to their deaths knowing his luck he would make a sly comment that make the hashira realise who had given her the tip about the uppermoon demon it was definitely a bad trait he picked up from his father especially when he would sit for hours bragging about he is still undefeated and the slayers don't stand a chance against him.

That lower moon rui was lucky he lost his sword that night overwise he would have taught him a lesson especially when it comes to killing his pray honestly there's no need for a monologue about his fake family in the middle of a battle its not like he's the main characters in a book. Less for us on family and more on getting more powerful, father seems to be good at picking out demons but they always lose focus on what they are supposed to do.
