Omg guys I am so super sorry for not updating in like a month. I'm sorry for being so inactive, but this story is NOT on hold, and neither is promise. My life as been a rollercoaster for the past few months and I can't get off. I am so busy all of the time and I hardly find any time to update, and if i do, my mind is so focused on other things I can't even write good chapters for you! I am so extremely sorry that I've been on this shitty writers block but I'm working my way out! Thinks should be calming down now but all I ask from you is that you continue to vote and comment and do all of the amazing things that you do! I love all of you guys so much!

Hermione leaned down to Harry's parents tombstone and drew out her wand. She waved it in a circular motion and a wreath of pink and blue flowers is conjured. Hermione slowly stands up and then puts her wand back in her bag. She wraps an arm tightly around Harry and he does the same to her.
He wipes his nose and Hermione can feel his body jolt for a moment, letting her know he is crying.
"Merry Christmas, Hermione," he said, although his words were full of sadness.
Hermione frowned. "Merry Christmas, Harry,"
Hermione had stopped sobbing a long time ago, but her heart had continued. She was tired of going back and forth with Harry, but she was even more tired of arguing with herself. She looked up from Harry's shoulder, and saw a figure standing near to one of the tombstones by the church. Hermione gave sharper breaths as she reached back for her wand once again. Harry noticed this and breathed, "what are you doing?"
Hermione turned back to where the figure once stood, but nothing was there. "Just there! There was something standing there, I saw it!"
Harry glanced over there himself, but did not remove his arm off of Hermione's fragile waist. "I don't see anything."
Hermione was trembling and Harry tightened his grip. "Relax, Hermione. It was just a tree or something rustling. If it was a death eater they would have killed us by now."
Hermione nodded slightly but was still trembling. "Your, your right. Probably a bird or something.."
Harry looked once again at his parents tombstone but did not feel as emotional this time, probably because Hermione was distracting him.
She hit him hard on the shoulder and he winced. "There! There, look!" She whispered but yelled at the same time in the scariest tone Harry has heard her say.
He looked over at the gate in the direction that Hermione was pointing in and saw the figure. It wasn't a death eater, or a bird or a rustling tree, it was a lady. An old lady, with a hunchback and small steps.
"Wait a minute," Harry replied to Hermione, his shoulder still hurting from where she hit him. "I know who that is,"
"I don't," Hermione whimpered as Harry tugged on her sleeve. He began walking towards the lady, but Hermione stayed back.
"Harry James Potter!" As bad as she felt for using his fathers name in his presence she felt that it was extremely necessary. "A bird! Haha, he says it's a bird! I know bloody right that isn't a bird!"
