PSA - this chapter will incorporate a lot of aspects from the actual Harry Potter series into it, but also a lot will be omitted because I don't want to feed you an entire chapter of events from J.K Rowlings brilliant mind, except for a few occasional kisses between our favorite ship. So, prepare yourselves for a chapter leading up to the Battle! I swear to God if someone tells me "omg this didn't happen like this," I will lose my mind :) also the picture above is so adorable! i miss the excitement of knowing when the trailers came out and going to see the movies the first day they came out. I listened to the song above while I was writing this chapter : Somewhere Only We Know by Lily Allen. Not only is it a beautiful song, but it shows the innocence of the Golden Trio and how all they want is to go to a place where there is no harm or war. Specifically Harry and Hermione who want to express their love and escape from this void of death and sadness.
"This could be the end of everything, so why don't we go, somewhere only we know?"
QOTD: Saddest Harry Potter moment for you to watch or read?
Answer: The scene where Harry goes to Dumbledore's pensive and Snape's memories are revealed gets me every time. 😢
also harry's muted scream in order of phoenix film kills meeeee 😭
also i just want to let you know that there about 7 planned chapters left in this book, and when it is finally finished, I will be editing it, because by then, i should be wrapping up editing Only You. sorry everything is taking so long, i have sports everyday. & i only get good ideas on certain days lol
Hermione spent a great deal of time staring at Harry from the side. While he looked forwards, a face armed with a face of bravery and courage, determined to take on any obstacle that approached him, she laid low, speculating, watching. Watching the way his lips would part when he was confused, or the way he would raise his eyebrows when he was angry. Hermione had noticed when Harry licked his lips when he wanted something. She had remembered a time when he licked his lips whenever he wanted to kiss her.
Could we ever return to those times? Hermione thought to herself. I want him to look at me, and want me.
Sarcastically, Hermione's timing and urge for Harry's love and affection could not be more perfect. As the dreadful words Ginny had uttered traveled their way into Harry's mind, she watched as his shoulder's slightly dropped with worry. She saw him. More importantly, people saw her. She noticed how people could not keep their eyes off of the once innocent, once emotionally attractive, Hermione Granger. She could sense their stares from her peripheral vision, connecting the dots as to why her hair was the length it was, when it was once so messy but distinguishable. Everyone once knew that the brunette briskly walking through the hall with the bushy hair and the ten stacks of books encased in both arms was Hermione. She rarely ever smiled with her mouth, but her eyes typically told the story on whether she was content.
What happened to her? She swore she could hear one of the younger kids say. She looks awful.
How could these people say those things? They didn't even know who she was. She admitted that she did probably look terrible. Not only had she and her friends suffered a great deal, but she was still trying to comprehend her feelings for Harry, which brought them right back to the beginning. Internally, she laughed. What perfect timing.
