QOTD : do you like twilight? <<did I spell it right>>

AOTD: no I can't stand it 😷 but please do not take offense if you do like it! You be you boo ;) but this is just my personal opinion!!

I'm skipping to after they come back from Lovegood because that part is not important in my story ...

Hermione

I quickly yanked my hands away from both Harry and Ron as soon as we apparated into the forest again. The air was still blistering cold as opposed to the strangely warm air near Mr Lovegood's house.

"Will you set up the enchantments, Ron?" Harry asked, tightening his pack around his body. His eyes ignored mine and he walked towards the woods.

This is what I hated. This back and forth that never seemed to stop. I loved him, I did, but he was Harry Potter. He didn't have time for a relationship like that, so I would just have to woman up and accept that. This whole journey I have only been worrying about myself, but no more. My goal now, was to be the Hermione that is loyal to her friends, intelligent, understanding, and above all, bossy.

"Salvio Hexia..... Protego Totalum..." Rob whispered while he waved his wand in an array.

"Hey, Ron?" I yelled at him. "Don't forget the muggle charm protecter. You never know who He put under the Imperious Curse."

Harry scoffed. "Why are you so determined to never say his name? Voldemort! There! It's done, and nothing is going to-"

"NOOOO!" Ron bellowed. "The name is taboo, Harry!"

Harry's mouth formed a large 'o' and I could see him mentally slapping himself hard across the face.

Ron glanced around quickly. "They will be here any second now-"

"Who, Ron?" I said to the pacing red haired boy.

Ron looked at me, then to Harry. I had never seen him so afraid.

"His snatchers." Ron whispered, his eyes widening and his lips parting in fear.

But if his name is taboo, and Harry just said it, then that means...

A rotten, putrid smell fills the air, and it doesn't take me long to realise. My hands turn ice cold and my eyebrows furrow in sadness for what is to come. I knew that whatever was being sent, was not going to let down without a fight. And I didn't want to fight. Not anymore. I'm done fighting with myself, with Harry, and with everyone.

I didn't want to turn around, I didn't have to. Harry and Ron's faces gave it away for me. Besides, I didn't need any encouragement to sprint away. I didn't need a sneak peak at what's been sent to hunt us down, first.

I started off sprinting, and it didn't take the boys long to follow pursuit. A howl filled the air following about a dozen more, only making me more and more anxious by the second.

I heard footsteps a few yards away from me, but that wasn't far enough. I still didn't turn around. My chest heaved at my speed and my legs began to burn. I was never really an athlete until I met Harry and we went through all of that stuff together.
