Hermione POV

I looked over to Harry's emaciated body. He wasn't moving, and from where I was standing, it looked like he wasn't breathing. I felt a piece of me fall apart, but I didn't have the time to grieve at the moment. I grabbed Harry's wand from his purplish blue hands and then faced the direction of the snake. She was hissing at me, or at something else, until I finally got the idea that she was calling her master.

"STUPEFY!" I bellowed and a bright blue light echoed from my wand, hitting the snake square in the face. She was knocked into another room that was hidden by stacks of books.
I took this chance to place my body over Harry's and apparate. Our bodies smashed through the window and I heard something crack, but at the moment I did not care at all. We stretched outwards and inwards and to and forth, until we finally landed on hard compacted snow. Of course I landed face first, but my body was so hot and sweaty that the impact actually felt kind of good. I lay there silently for a few moments, then I slowly lifted my head up to look for Harry. Although, he was right next to me, my arm was resting on his.

I smiled to myself, but it quickly erased when I realised that he may not even be alive. I sat up on my knees and turned his shoulders so that his body was fully facing me. His eyes were closed, and I could not see them moving either. His tinged lips were squeezed shut, although there was a trail of blood leaking from his mouth. His body was still, but other than the paleness and stillness he looked fine, until I got to his legs.

His right leg was great, perfect color and size, but his left leg had four puncture marks that were still ferociously bleeding. I tried to see if there were anymore bite marks but he was bleeding so much that I could barely see his injuries to begin with. I didn't have to look at his leg to tell that this was painful.

I reached behind my a grabbed my beaded bag and searched through it, dumping out all of my antidotes and medicines.

Harry stirs for a quick moment and I pause. If he wakes up this could possibly be the most painful moment of his life. He coughs, then freezes before his head drops and he doesn't move anymore.

I sigh in relief but feel his pulse to make sure that he didn't drop dead. It's beating slowly, so I have to work quickly.

I take off my jacket and wrap it under his leg. This operation, will include a lot of blood so I must prepare myself. I can feel the cold air hitting my bare arms and hands, but I ignore it, knowing that Harry is more important. I grab a liquid antidote from which I laid upon the snow that read, "Venom and Bites Antidote," then in a caution in small letters wrote, "can be deadly if overused,"

I slowly sighed but then raised the bottle to Harry's leg. "It's all I've got. Bare with me, Harry. You will be better by the morning." I didn't want to say anything else that might make me cry because I knew he probably couldn't hear me.
