What does he mean by that? I secretly frowned after the man stated it. Part of me has been saying that it was only his warning or a threat but there's a part of me thinking he knew something about Themin's.

I don't know what's their relationship with Themin before but his eyes are terrible. Are they doing this kind of illegal because Themin is working with a government?

My eyes widened when Riyota's right eye opened in the cylindrical glass. He looked at us before he looked at the man who was watching him sleeping few minutes ago. Riyota is fighting for his life. We have to take him as soon as possible because his energy level is fifty percent. Kapag bumawas iyon nang bumawas bibigay na ang katawan niya. Kung mapapansin din, may ibang parte sa kaniya ang may damage.

He tortured his body first before they put him in the cylindrical glass. He tried to escape but he failed. Riyota and Mintaro have been tortured.

"I'll let this boy in the cylindrical glass to live but give that girl to us." He pointed his forefinger at me. "Someone wanted her body," he added.

I take a step backward. Wayn pulled me behind as he shot the man a death glare.

"What will you do to her body?" Hidre asked. "If you'll tell to us, then maybe I say yes."

Parang bigla akong nabingi sa sinabi niya. Tinignan ko siya na may nanglalakihang mga mata. Gusto ko siyang sampalin ngayon. Ano na naman ba ang iniisip niya? Nahihibang na ba siya? Bakit ipapamigay niya ako ng ganoon ganoon lang? Dahil ba kanina? Ang bilis niya naman mgakaroon ng sama ng loob sa akin at kahit buhay ko ay gusto niyang ipalit.

Bakit nga ba kasi ako sumama, hindi ba? Laging napapahamak buhay ko.

"Hidre, no. I will not let that happen," Wayn said, shaking his head. "Not her life!" he continuously protested.

He looked at Wayn. "She's a mere  human," he retorted. "Don't treat her too much special. Humans can betray, humans are cruel."

I swear, I'll kick his face here. What did he just say about humans? Humans aren't bad at all like was thinking. He's judging normal people too much. Isn't because they are great than us, they can underestimate us. We have something that they don't have. People are different.

"Stop, Hidre. Even I don't treat her special, special na talaga siya. Huwag mo siyang ihalintulad sa kaniya. Change that mindset you have, Hidre. Don't give her to them."

Hidre didn't speak after. Suddenly, he take a heaved sigh.

"Alright." He looked at me. "Continue what I've said. They must take my bait." He stepped his right foot on the ground. He's planning to run and jump like he did last week. He used his ice to create an extremely speed.

And he just used Wayn’s protest to make him believe us.

"Bakit? Masama bang kunin ang bago mong babae, Themin?" A girl spoke as we heard the echoes of footsteps coming towards here. Napatigil si Hidre sa pag-gawa ng yelo sa ilalim ng sapatos niya at lalong naging seryoso ang kaniyang mga mata.

"Keria," he called. "As usual from a snake." He stepped back. "I badly want to burn a snake. They aren't just a traitor. Snakes are ugly."

She smiled. "And toxic?"

"Are you talking about yourself, Keria?" Hidre retorted.

She chuckled as she fixated her gaze at me. "Ikaw pala 'yong babae na sinasabi ng mga baraha ko. Hindi ko alam na ang isang kagaya mo ay magkakaroon ng kuwenta sa mga katulad namin."
