one person and their significant other mutually agreeing on this glorious thing called marriage and then hosting a glorious thing called a wedding.

the bride wears an expensive, beautiful white dress (considerably more of a gown) and a thin sheet that lays gracefully over her face called a veil, with the addition of her bridesmaids attached to her hip.

and then there was the groom and he did stuff i guess.

10 year old george would've told you that his sister was "so rude and so, so, so, so, so annoying" that she'd probably "never get married ever, in all of eternity", word for word.

and 10 year old george would've also told you that he liked girls but look where he ended up.

where did he end up exactly? at his sister's wedding with his, get this -, proclaimed boyfriend at his side.

he was far from straight and some guy loved his sister, who was so rude and so, so, so, so, so annoying, enough to propose to her.

"you look like you're thinking really hard about something. what's on your mind?" his younger cousin came strolling up next to him.

it was a surprise to see his distant 14 year old cousin at a wedding but he was glad to see them anyways.

"nothing too important." george said quietly, sending a polite smile their way.

"certainly it's important if you've got that -- look on your face." they mumbled as their green eyes shined in the light, their light brown hair with the underhalf bleached blowing in the wind.

"what is that supposed to mean?" he quickly turned to face his cousin.

"forget what i said, tell me what's up."

"im kind of worried, i guess."

"about -..?"

"nothing in particular. im just worried." george said, messing with the watch on his wrist.

"hm. we can talk later." they shrugged, walking off.

tears were shed, speeches were spoken, so on, so forth.

whatever the priest was saying about kissing the bride was blocked out by his heartbeat pounding in his ears.

"what the fuck is wrong with you george!" she shouted, clenching her fists.

"me? what the fuck is wrong with you emma!" george yelled back.

"just shut up!" she raised her voice impossibly higher.

"no wonder you're boyfriend broke up with you!"

"you're so selfish! just get out of my life! you are the worst thing that has ever happened to me!"

the next words to fall from her mouth, laced with her once sweet voice that was also once soothing, were absolutely terrifying.

"i wish you would just die." she said, her voice cracking.

"tell me you don't mean that, em." his shoulders dropped and his gaze softened.

"i meant it. every word. now, get -- out." she choked out.

"mom said i should talk to you. it wasn't fair. what i said, i mean. i --" her voice was cut off as he hung up on her.
