Side Story: (Fallen) Secrets

"Nonsense, seems to sum up everything." - Albert Einstein

"No...Not this...No...No...No..."

Back in a storage space filled with scrap, The Dreg had a headlamp looking around piles of broken metal, it just needed to few more pieces before the Servitor was close to finishing.

But as it looked around it just couldn't find the right material to be able to make the proper part needed for the Servitor's new storage unit. After some scavenging from both the Shanks and Human scrap it got almost everything for it.

"But not everything, almost finish, where to get new part?" The Dreg thought to itself. "Can't seem to find what you need?" Quickly turning around the Dreg heard a voice from the dark area, but he just couldn't see any person.

"Teacher..."

"You've gotten sloppy Wavok, but I'll let it go." After de-cloaking itself the disembodied voice became a Marauder, a very special three eyed one.

"Teacher Dravok, I'm sorry, but this Servitor..."

"I'm aware, and I do not fault you, our Ether goes lower by the day. You must do what you can."

Wavok the Dreg grumbles to himself, "Yes, but I cannot fix the Servitor fast, I must hurry but..."

"You do not have the parts do you?"

"Y-yes, I don't, why would you ask?"

"I have been told of your plight from the Captain, I had ask of him for the rest of our Shank materials."

"What?! But-But teacher! We need those in case we need the firepower, Shanks are important right now!"

"Our Shanks are nothing more but a distraction to our enemies, if we have to give up our Shanks for one Servitor in life or death, we must make the sacrifice, our Captain had agreed with me."

Pulling a heavy sack from behind himself Dravok the Marauder places it in front of Wavok. Looking inside it Wavok found that all of it did indeed come from the destroyed Shanks.

They were going to be make into Shanks later but...The Servitor needed it more then ever. "Yes, all of this will do, very much so." Wavok lifted the bag with a huge "Huff" and walked into his illuminated "Workshop".

After some time before it looked quite different. The bedding was moved to the side in favor of the Servitor's wires and parts strewn about. While Surveyor's inside hatch is wide open, almost hallowed out, if Wavok decided.

As the Dreg went back to work, looking and testing the strength of the parts his Teacher looked around the area closer. The insides of the Servitor were all about, some food wrappers here and there, the whole area was a mess.

But in the "corner" of the illuminated area he saw some parts perfectly stacked, he wasn't a Technical Dreg like his disciple, despite Wavok being a simple amateur in Servitor maintenance he knew far more in that category sadly.

Crawling over to it, Dravok saw that some wires were connecting this certain Servitor part with a Fallen Datapad. He was going to activate it, but it looks like Wavok noticed his curiosity.

"Kell Ruby had insisted that any Part I take out of it, I keep it safe, specifically that there." Wavok pointed at a metal box about the size of their palms

"What is it?"

"Hmmm...think of it like the brain for machines, it holds data, subroutines, any knowledge it has or had for as long it lived...or as far as it could remember that is without the data being deleted."
