Third Person

A storm was brewing outside, causing rain to bang on the windows of the house loudly, luckily it was nighttime and everyone in the Martinez family was soundly sleeping... all except the newly born babe of the family who woke up to the sound of thunder outside.

Marco Martinez woke up to hear the sound of his newly born daughter crying, he looked beside him to see his wife starting to get out of bed to go and comfort their crying daughter. "Darling it's alright go back to sleep I will take care of her", Marco told his wife who nodded and went back to bed falling asleep almost instantly.

Marco got out of bed and walked over to the nursery not noticing the crying had now stopped due to how tired he was. I got to the room and gasped when he saw an unfamiliar person sitting with his princess in their hands rocking her in the arm chair beside her bed.

Marco tried to grab his gun noticing that he hadn't taken it with him since he thought he was only going to sooth his crying daughter. "Who the hell are you, put my daughter down right now", he snarled angrily at the man while stepping towards him. But he stopped in his tracks when the figure pulled out a gun and held it to his baby girls face. "Take one step closer and i'll shoot this pretty little things face off", the voice said causing his daughter to start screaming once again.

Marcos heart sank to his stomach seeing the gun pointing at his daughter and hearing her screams. "What do you want?", he asked calmly masking any worry in his voice. "Isn't it obvious Marco?, I want your family to pay", he said chuckling "And this sweet girl is going to be the payment", he continued laughing.

"I will give you whatever you want just let my daughter go", Marco said slowly taking a step towards the man while looking at his daughter. "Thats just it I already have what I wanted and that is this sweet girl of yours here. Now say goodbye to dad baby because this is the last time you will see him", he laughed holding up the baby so Marco could see his baby girls face one last time.

Marco went to run and grab the baby but all the lights switched off leaving the room in complete darkness he kept running towards the direction of where his child was but when he reached it the lights turned back on and the chair was now empty. The room looked as if no one had never been there in the first place, the only proof being that his baby girl was now gone.

Marco ran around the house screaming at the guards to find his daughter, his screaming unknowingly waking everyone else up in the process.

His wife and 5 sons ran downstairs to see him in the hallway in distress. "Whats the matter?", his wife Victoria asked him with a worried voice. "She's gone.. someone took Emilia", was all Marco responded before falling to the floor and for the first time in his life he broke down crying.

His wife and sons ran over and hugged him all of them sitting on the floor crying for the loss of their daughter and sister.

A few hours later

A old woman heard a loud knock at her door. She lived alone so she had no idea who could possibly be banging on her door at 5am. She got out of bed and pulled on her robe while quickly rushing to the living room window to see who is at her door at this ungodly hour.

She looked through the blinds and couldn't see anyone at the door but saw a car quickly driving down the street away from her house. She let out a breath and started walking back to the stairs to go to sleep when she heard a loud cry coming from behind the front door.

She looked behind her at the door and quickly rushed towards it, opening it and looking down to the ground she was in shock by what she saw, a little baby no more than a few weeks old was lying on her cold porch, wrapped in a thin pink blanket and screaming her head off.

She quickly picked up the baby and took it inside to her living room where she turned on the heaters to warm up the room and replaced the baby blanket with another one which would help warm up the baby.

When she had played out the baby blanket she say the name 'Emilia M' Written on it in cursive. She smiled at the beautiful baby at least now she knew she has a name.

She cuddled the baby trying to sooth her until she finally fell asleep, once the baby was finally asleep she picked up her phone and dialled 9-1-1, hoping they could help find the baby parents.

A few minutes later

"It looks like her parents left her here at the door step so there isn't much of a search we can do for you", the police woman told the old woman
