(After rewatching Wayside I noticed how much Todd stutters throughout the show. Idk that's just kinda funny to me)

"Tough time sleeping?"

This question initially caught me off guard. Is that obvious?

I sit next to Todd, a tiny glare forming on my face. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Well for one," He starts, holding back a smug look. "You came on the bus stumbling as if you had two left feet. Two, your eye bags are five times bigger than usual. And three, you are yawning right now."

I catch myself mid-yawn, shutting my mouth and scratching the back of my head sheepishly. One thing about Todd is that he can read anyone like a book, no matter how obvious it is or not. This mostly only applies to people he's known long enough, and unfortunately, I'm one of those people.

I go limp and lean my head on the seat in front of us. "Why are you always so good at that?"

"Because I'm just an amazing and talented person."

I snort and sit myself up straight again. "Yeah, right. You're sounding a lot like Myron right now."

We both share a good laugh about this. I love sharing moments like this with him. Never in my life have I ever felt so comfortable around a person. I've known him for a while now, but not as long as some of my other friends. It's like I can be myself around him.

A gushy feeling flows through my stomach.

Go away.

Todd and I walk in to see Myron hauling loads of things onto a dolly and tying them down with a rope to stay in place. Dana stands next to it, smiling smugly. I exchange a confused glance with the ginger next to me and make our way to them.

"Going somewhere?" I ask, crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow.

"Why, yes (Y/N)," Dana starts, taking a seat on the teacher's desk. "I suspect I'll be transferred to Wayside's honors class today, once Ms.Jewls announces the results of our Wayside Aptitude Test."

Oh yeah, I remember taking that. I don't think I tried at all.

"Or W.A.T., for short," Myron cuts in. "W-A-T, W.A.T!"

"When?" Todd questions.

"No not when, W.A.T."

"I know, I wasn't asking W.A.T., I was asking when."

"When what?"

"When do we learn about the W.A.T test?"

"What test?! Are we having a test?!"

"No, we already had the test."

"What test was that?"

"The W.A.T test!" Todd ends up yelling in frustration. I watch their bickering form aside, trying not to laugh my ass off.
