Ok so most of my readers probably won't understand a lot of what this book is about, so I'll explain now. CJ (main character and the one telling the story) does a bunch of stuff- here's a list with explanations;

The Civil Air Patrol: This is the auxiliary of the US Air Force. It's sort of like the military, but they only have to work one night a week, which is Tuesday. CJ is a Cadet Major (C/Maj.). She is basically in charge of most of what the other cadets do. There will be plenty of military terms in the book, if you don't understand, please comment and I will explain what it means. For further information on the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), visit www.gocivilairpatrol.com

Trap League: If you're not American, clearly you won't understand this sport. But the point is, when you say "pull" a clay target will fly (like a Frisbee) and your goal is to shoot it before it hits the ground. It simulates hunting for duck, pheasant, really anything that flies.

Tennis Team: Ok I really hope you know what this is...

Barrel Racing: A rider and her horse are in a large arena, and there are three barrels set up in a triangular shape. The goal is to race around the three barrels in a clover pattern faster than the other riders.

Air Force Academy: This is basically the best thing that could happen to anyone dreaming of fighting for their country. That, and not dying. Just for future Air Force cadets, they will train the crap out of you and get you ready for anything. You can be anything from a fighter pilot to a nurse, all sorts of jobs in the USAF.

If you need anything at all explained, feel free to comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Or you can google it I suppose. But I'm a delight so why not talk to me? :)
