Chapter 45: Relaxing Part 2

Third Person POV 

Asuka was walking down a sidewalk as her sword was strapped to her back. 

Asuka: I wonder how Y/N is doing along with his friends.
She thought to herself as she continued down the sidewalk, hearing nothing but birds as they flew past her. 

???: Asuka, is that you? 
A raspy voice asked as she turned to see an elderly woman waving her. 

Asuka: Oh, it's been a long time! 
She called out excitingly, approaching her with a smile. 

Elderly Woman: How have you been Asuka? 
She asked with a soft smile. 

Asuka: I'm been doing well. How are you doing? 
She asked as the elderly woman smiled. 

Elderly Woman: Oh, you know, taking care of the little ones around here. 
She answered as Asuka giggles. 

Asuka: Still taking care of us little ones. 

Elderly Woman: It's the least I can do. How's your brother and mother? 

Asuka: Mother is doing well. Y/N is out with his friends. 

Elderly Woman: Oh how cute you two were when you were little kids. Especially after what happened to that poor boy. 
She said as Asuka slowly looked away. 

Elderly Woman: I'd thought you'd be out with Y/N. You two were so cute when you played with each other with the other kids. Especially when we took you all to that lake. 
She said as Asuka remained silent. 

???: Asuka? I didn't think you'll be coming home for your break. 
Another voice called out to her as Asuka turned to see Alyssa. 

Asuka: Sounds like I have to go. It was nice talking to you again. 
She tells the elderly woman before walking towards Alyssa. 

Alyssa: Is it just you? Where's your brother? 

Asuka: It's just me. Y/N's out with his friends.

To Y/N 

Blake: What do you think so far Y/N? 
She asked as she sat with him, holding a cup in hand. 

Y/N: It's alright. How about you? 
He replied as music roared throughout the building. 

Blake: Could be better. 
She said as she looked around to see Yang walking towards them with drinks in hand. 

Yang: Come on love birds. Have a drink. 
She said with a smile before placing the drinks near them. 

Blake: Yang... 

Yang: What kitty? There's nothing wrong with three friends drinking. 
She said before taking a sip out of hers. 

Y/N: I suppose. 
He said before taking a sip out of his as Blake slowly took a sip out of hers. 

Yang: What do you guys think?
She asked as Blake placed her cup on the table, a small blush forming. 

Y/N: It's alright. 
He said as he looked at the two. 

Yang; Looks like kitten isn't a strong drinker. 
She giggles as she nods to Blake. 

???: Y/N! 
Another called out as Y/N turned around to see Ruby with a dark blush. 

Y/N: R-Ruby!? Have you been drinking? 
He asked as he looked at her with confusion. 

Ruby: N-No. 
She said before grabbing his hand. 

Ruby: Coco said she wants you outside. 
She said before dashing away with him. 

Yang: And there he goes. 
She said as Blake lays her head on the table. 

Yang: Come on kitten. Let's go where they are going. 

To Y/N 

Y/N: Whoa! 
He gasped as Ruby looked at him. 

Ruby: Sorry. 
She giggles before looking at Coco, Velvet, and Weiss. 

Coco: Finally, you're here. 
She said with a smile before holding a cup in hand. 

Y/N: What is this about?

Coco: A drink for tonight. A night with friends. 
She said as Weiss slowly held her cup up while Velvet nods slowly. 

Coco: Let's enjoy this.
