Yeah I'm not leaving this book behind just yet-

These hcs are basically about the general steve population and what I think about them. If any of them get confusing, I'll try to explain them in the comments.

───*.:*.:*.*.:*.:*. ───

• Sometimes, when a new steve is created, they won't have any powers like they're supposed to. It's rare, but it can happen.

• When a steve is named the leader of their color, a rule that comes with their leadership is that they can't have children. This is because the leader may become too preoccupied with the child, stressed from parenting and leadership, and to help the leader focus on their people and not a creation of theirs

• Names play an important part in all steve kingdoms and society. Many names are color-based, and are therefore used for common steves. However, gem-based names, such as Ruby, are for the rarer and more powerful types of steves, like leaders (That's why I call the orange steve who became Rainbow "Crystal"). Other names, like the ones for the elite trio and Seer, are for their special status and personality. They're unique names only given to a select few who are deemed special by the leader of the kingdom. Not powerful-special, but special in a way that the leader can sense but not be sure of

• The steves have a polytheistic system of gods, as well as different days of worship to their gods. For every color and representation (like red steves are wisdom), there is a different god (there is a wisdom god that the red steves worship). Each day is a day of worship to one of the gods: red steves worship the wisdom god on Sunday, orange worship creativity on Monday, yellow worships energy on Tuesday, and so on. (If you want me to expand on this in a separate chapter, like what each color does for worship, then lmk in the comments. This would also be before the chromatics discovered they were created by Origin)

• ⚠️ Mature Warning for the next 3 hcs ⚠️
If a steve and another being (like a human) were to "do the deed," a mental bond would form between them, allowing the steve to control the other whenever they wished, similar to hypnosis. The control will only last for a maximum of an hour, though

• Sometimes, when steves have partners, they'll get these urges to imprint or claim their partner. These instincts can be controlled, but in some cases, they can get too strong and overtake the sensible mind. When these urges surface depends on the steve, but they can only appear if the steve has a partner

• When a steve has a partner, and their bond is deep enough, they gain this mental connection that bridges their mindscapes. One can choose to send a certain thought to the other, or they can sense if something has changed in their partner. The bond works best in a human-steve bond, and the steve can actually tell if their human partner is pregnant or not, as well as what the gender is before the baby is fully formed. This doesn't work the same way in steve-steve bonds, however

• Aging is weird in the Rainbow Quest universe. My guess as to why is that since steves aren't the same as humans, they age every five years, but still keep track of time through human years. Since red steves have extended lifetimes due to red stone, they probably age every ten years. However, all steves are created at the age of 15 or 16
