POV: Your mom had taken full custody of you long ago. Living under her roof with horribly strict rules. One day your mom is in a horrible car crash and ends up in a coma. You go to live with your dad, things are very different... freer. You end up falling for a particular bug boy.

side note: there is lots of stuttering, yk classic Y/N. I usually don't put this much stuttering it just kinda, idk happened.

TW: Physical Abuse, Mental Abuse, body shaming. I don't know what to call this but it's quite triggering: in the book, Y/N's mother says she has to be a perfect weight, something to keep in mind is this weight is based on someone Peter's age. Also, average weights are ridiculous. All bodies are different it is an unrealistic standard.

You were sitting at home after a long day of school. You had finally finished all your chores. You had never forgotten to do a chore, well not since, that day... You had sat down to study because there was hardly anything you could do, with all your mom's rules.

It was getting late, and you decide you couldn't wait for her any longer. You went to sleep. You had been sleeping for an hour, maybe two when you heard a knock at your door. You went to go get it, it was the police. You began to tremble with fear, your mom had always said "If you get in trouble with the cops, you won't need to worry about prison. Because I will most literally kill you."

You nearly started to cry opening the door. "H-Hello S-Sir," you said. "Hello, are you Y/N, Anna's daughter?" The officer asked. "Yeah," you said. "Your mother has been in a terrible accident. The doctors fear she won't wake up, it won't be anytime soon for sure. You're going to live with your father until then," The man said.

This terrified you, your mother had told you stories of him. She said "Y/N how dare you ask about your father. He is a monster." Of course, she never really elaborated, so you could only imagine what he had done. You had always trusted your mother, never doubted her not even for a minute.

The officer gave you some time to pack your stuff. Which wasn't much, your mother had never let you get anything, without a use. It had to be for school or clothes or, well that was really it. Then he drove you to the airport. You got onto the plane and left dreading to meet the man your mother called a monster and the man whom you were supposed to call dad.

You had landed and your father had called a drive to get you. After some time you arrived at a rather large building. the man gave you, your bag. Then he left. You were stranded, your only option was to go inside and meet this monster.

You slowly walked inside and bumped into a man. "A-are you T-tony Stark?" you asked only knowing your father's name for a few hours. "No, I'm Steve Rodgers, and who might you be?" he asked. "I-I'm Y/N, please I'm j-just looking for my dad," You said. "Tony has a daughter?" He asked. "Please I ju-just wanna meet t-the monster," you said. "Who's the monster," he asked. You were getting annoyed with his questions, it was only adding to your anxiety. "T-Ton-dad," You said. "Why is he a monster?" He asked yet another question. "D-Dunno my mom j-just always said s-so," You said. "Okay? uhh, I'll take you to Tony now," He said.

You walked down several hallways, too many hallways. Finally reaching the room where your father was. "I'm just going to talk to him for a minute and then you can meet him," The man said. You had no clue what he was telling your father, and it scared you. What if he said you were stupid and should be sent back.

Finally, the man from before came out and said you could go in. You walked in the door. "H-Hello I-I'm Y/N," you said. "Hello Y/N, I'm quite busy right now, but I can get someone to take you to your new room," He said, he didn't seem like a monster to you. "O-Okay," you responded.
