Chapter 5 - Unexpected Trip

New York City - November 2021

Sebastian had parked his car right in front of y/n's apartment. He opened the back door and put the apple pie and flowers for his mom on the back seat. Then he opened the passenger door for y/n.

"My lady.." Sebastian said bowing his head to her.

"Thank you fine gentleman.." Y/n said playfully while getting herself in the car.

Sebastian laughed and closed the door. He got into the driver's seat and turned the ignition on. He then set the music player and pressed the search button until it got to the song he wanted. It was Hungry Eyes by Eric Carmen. Y/n rolled her eyes in disbelief. She couldn't understand Sebastian's obsession with the song.

"Hungry eyes.. one look at you and I can't disguise I've got.. hungry eyes.." Sebastian started belting the song as they left her apartment and started the journey to Nyack.

"What is it with this song that you like so much?" Y/n asked.

"It describes my feelings about you 90% of the time." Sebastian said winking at her, making her blush.

"Oh stop teasing me, Seb." Y/n said.

"I like seeing you all flustered like that. You look cute." Sebastian responded, making y/n blushed even further.

He continued singing the song. Pointing his index finger at y/n whenever the song reached the 'you' and pointed to himself whenever the song reached the 'I'. Y/n couldn't help but sing a long as well. They spent the whole journey to Nyack singing and belting out their favourite songs. Something they liked to do whenever they were on a trip together.

"I miss going to karaoke with you." Y/n said.

"Yeah..me too. We should go sometime." Sebastian responded.

"Yeah we should." Y/n smiled.

Sebastian reached out to her and held her hand.

"Y/n..thank you for coming with me and being there for me last night. I really needed it. I feel so much better now." Sebastian said, squeezing her hand.

"No problem Seb. That's what friends are for, right?" Y/n answered, squeezing his hand back.

"Yeah." Sebastian said, pulling his hand and putting it on the steering wheel. He looked odd, like he was disappointed about something. Y/n decided not to bring it up. It was probably nothing. She thought.

One and a half hours later they arrived at Nyack. As they passed the familiar road to Sebastian's house y/n couldn't help but remember the first time she went there.

"Hey, do you remember when you hosted a party at your house? And the cops came?" Y/n asked.

"Of course!" Sebastian said, laughing.

"My first time ever hosting a party and cops came! I believe it was a success as far as college parties go." They laughed.

"But I don't like the part where my parents grounded me obviously." His face turned sour.

"What is it that they asked you to do? I forgot." Y/n asked.

"They didn't allow me to go to NYC for the whole summer! And they also had me clean the whole house. I even had to wash the curtains and cleaned the windows. It was too much." He shrugged.

"Oh really? Your parents must've been so pissed." Y/n said.

"They were." Sebastian said.

"I'm sorry..on behalf of Michael and everyone else." Y/n said.
