Pup-napped (PAW Patrol Fanfic)

Chapter 15

Ryder takes out his pistol and starts shooting a small house. He then drives into it to get away from his pursuers. The pursuit takes Ryder and the pup-nappers into the city area where it's busy.
While driving, somebody calls Boss James. It's the captain of the ship.
"Hi captain" Boss James says. "Hi Boss James. The ship is here but I don't see you guys anywhere" the captain of the ship says.
"Captain, right now we're in a serious situation. You guys might have to wait for a while" Boss James says. "Why?" the captain asks. "We had pup-napped a German Shepherd like a week ago and we didn't think his owner would come all the way to Paris just to save his pet. That's never happened in the years of my career and this is the first time this has ever happened. The boy somehow found where we are and broke into the underfloor where all of the dogs are kept. Next thing you know, he got his pup and is driving off with him.
We're pursuing him but this kid is no ordinary kid so I don't know if we'll be able to catch him" Boss James explains.

"Alright, sounds crazy but we'll wait here for you guys" the captain says.

As Ryder drives, he sees the light is about to turn red which means all cars have to stop. So he kicks up the speed of the car and passes the light before it goes red. When his pursuers arrive onto the busy road that is full of cars, the light goes red.
Hundreds of cars block their way, from behind and infront. "Darn!" Luke says.
"He's gonna get away!" Boss James yells.

Ryder glances at the rear-view mirror and sees that his pursuers aren't pursuing him. "They must've got stuck in the traffic jam" Ryder says. "This is a good opportunity for me."
Ryder makes many different turns to get as far as possible from the pup-nappers. When he sees a hotel building, Ryder decides that he'll rent a hotel room in there.
So he parks the black car infront a different building that is a distance away from the hotel. He knows that if he parks the car infront of the hotel building, the pup-nappers will know he went inside there.

After he parks the car, Ryder opens the door and gets out. He walks over to the other door and opens it for Chase. "Chase?" Ryder says, when he realizes that his pup was just laying there without moving.
"I have to get him on IV like right now. He can die if his blood sugar goes way too low."
Ryder picks up his pup and closes the door to the car. He crosses the street and gets to the other side of the road.
Just to make things more confusing for the pup-nappers, Ryder takes out his pistol and loads it with bigger bullets. He then shoots the black car from the distance he's standing.

After firing a few more bullets, the car explodes. "Those pup-nappers will be so confused" Ryder says. He then heads for the hotel building, fast.

When he makes it there, before entering the building, Ryder takes off his jacket and wraps it around Chase so the people won't see how beaten up Chase is. He then walks into the hotel building.
The minute he enters, the people immediately start looking at Ryder with great suspicion.
They see the side of his shirt is covered in blood and the sleeve is also caked in blood.

They spot Chase wrapped in Ryder's leather jacket. "Hey sir, I need a hotel room for one night" Ryder walks up to the man at the desk.
"I would like to know why do you look like that and why does that pup look dead?" the man asks. "Sir, he's my pup and he was pup-napped. Everyone in Paris doesn't even know about the cruel pup-nappers that lurk around their city, not even the cops. But this is what they do to dogs" Ryder says boldly.

"Anyways, why do you look bloody also?" the man asks. "I was trying to save my pup and this is what the pup-nappers did to me. Now I need to rent a room here for a night so me and my pup can get some rest and recover" Ryder says, his tone sounding irritated and serious.
The man hesitatingly gives Ryder the number of his room and the key to his room. Ryder takes it and then walks off to the elevator.
