A/N: Alright, I'm excited. First of all, for where this story is going, 2. Because I have so many ideas for a new story! I feel like you guys would really like both, so I'm really starting to plan both out in like A REAL JOURNAL. I want to get a story published someday, and my grammar is really improving. I think I made a troublesome word mistake last chappie, so I'm going to fix that, and I want this edited! So I'm giving a lucky person some sort of editing job! I think I have someone in mind, but I don't know yet. If you want to, just comment. I would be honored to have a fan edit my story!

HERMIONE's POV (be ready):

I woke up in a cold sweat, my face completely drenched. I turn to feel a huge pain in my side. I forget everything, nothing makes much sense in the moment. My name is.... But I look at the ceiling to see a huge light shining in my face. The ceiling was white, actually, the whole room was, and that's when it came back to me. I'm alive, and I'm Hermione Granger.

I don't want anyone to know I'm alive, I think as I sit up. A nurse walks in and smiles at me. "Ms. Granger! I can't believe it! This is a complete miracle, I'm going to go tell Mr. Potter and-," I cut her off with a swaying of my head. "And why not?" "I don't need him to know anything, nor do I want his friends knowing, my parents, I just want to be transported with one person." She looks bewildered, but asks, "Who would that be?"
"I would like to be transported to New York...with Dean Thomas."

The nurse gets in touch with him as soon as possible. He comes in the hour after. "What's wrong? How have you been?" He asks worriedly. I remember him being my boyfriend at one point, so that's why I want to be with him. I remember Harry, but I don't want someone who knows me too well. "We've got to get to New York." I say in a hurried voice. "You can't tell anyone we're going, let's just pack and go?" "Alright, I'll be back in a couple of hours."

I finished getting ready after the nurses ran a few tests on me. Later that night, Dean and I were on a plane to New York. I sighed as I fit the last of my things into a bag. Dean came over and helped me shove the last piece of clothing in. "You sure you want to do this?" He asked anxiously. "Why would I not?" I asked hesitantly. "Harry." Our memories were really fond, and I'm going to miss him. "Dean, I love him, and that's why I'm leaving him. I don't want him to know I'm alive." I heard a sudden voice outside. It belonged to Harry Potter. "So, how is she doing?" He asked. No, no. I couldn't bear to hear the Nurses' next words.
"Ms. Granger, I'm sorry to say, has passed on."

"Dean, let's get out of here," I nagged. He nodded curtly as he carried my bags to the airport. I dyed my hair a darker brown yesterday and plan on keeping it this way. I've got blonde highlights I'm also very fond of, it's useful coming from a muggle family. Not one soul except, St. Mungo's, Me, and Dean know about me not 'dying.' I feel guilt eat at me almost every morning, but I'm sick and tired of being controlled.

We walk right into the airport and make sure we still have our tickets booked. The man happily gives us the tickets that he rips from the others and we sit down, waiting to be called onto the plane.
"Why?" Dean asked quietly.
"What do you mean?" I asked back.
"Why did you leave everyone behind?" He shot at me.
"I care too much for them, especially Harry."
"Well, then why didn't you bring him?"
"Because I can't."
"Why?"
"Dean, stop asking me questions, thank you very much." I said exasperatedly. He blushed red and looked at some of the ads that are posted on the huge walls. He apologizes, but I ignore. He doesn't need to apologize, he's the only thing I've got left of my sanity. "Hermione, you look really pale, how's your stomach?" I look at the bloody bandage that covered my wound, that's supposedly healing. "I feel, a little light-headed actually...." I felt dizzy, out of control. I don't think I can control what happens to me. I faint, falling out of my seat head first, not even controlling what I do, and lay in the awkward position I'm placed in.
