"How did it go?"

Y/n just got home, slumped, walking like an emotionless zombie in front of 4 people. Ruiqi, Ziyin, Dayeon, and Mrs. Bong. The sun is already up and Y/n's expression was not the one they were expecting.

"Why aren't you crying? You didn't do it?" Ruiqi, the number one 'please break up with her' supporter, asked. She was the second one who told Y/n to break up with her fiancée, the first one was Ziyin. Both of them want the healthiest for Y/n and breaking up with a walking red flag is the only solution. Su Ruiqi originally wants the couple to make up at first but after Xiaoting messing up with her boss again, she's on the other side now.

"I think... she did" Ziyin walked closer to her cousin then pulled out her necklace revealing two rings hanging. The other girls gasped, unknown if it was out of grief or happiness. Well, for Ruiqi, she's glad.

"Finally" Ziyin stroked Y/n's back. "Good job"

Y/n then snapped, walking away at a fast pace towards her bedroom. The girls stared at her figure stomping on the stairs loudly, her fist coiled. "Now she's going to cry, great"

"That's normal when you're going through a break-up... let's just hope she won't baby Xiaoting again once she comes back... we know Y/n... very... forgiving" Ziyin shook her head. She was very disappointed that Y/n keeps on forgiving Xiaoting at everything. And also, Y/n covering Xiaoting's mess isn't right. Just because you're deeply in love, you shouldn't give all yourself in.

"Sojung is probably emo-Ting right now too. She's probably not expecting that... What should we do to avoid atmosphere awkwardness if we're all in the same room?" Dayeon asked. "I'm sure Y/n won't get this team involved in her heartbreak. Remember what CEO told us? Be careful when dating because when the situation is down, it might affect the group. Y/n is very professional so I think it'll be fine"

What Ziyin predicted actually happened the next day. Even though Xiaoting didn't come home last night and Y/n woke up with swollen eyes, Y/n was acting very normal during the meeting at the company.

"What happened, Y/n?" Kyungsoo asked as the girl took off her cap inside the room. "Her chicken in China was k worded, sir"

"Last time was a cat, now chicken? You really like animals huh?"

"Yes" Everyone looked at Su Ruiqi. "What? Chicken and Cats are animals? Y'all weird"

"Anyway... sorry for your loss. May your chicken rest in paradise" the people inside the room laughed including Y/n who was holding it ever since Ziyin made another lame excuse.

"Let's discuss our future projects... but before we start, where is Miss Shen?"

"I'm here, I'm here... sorry I'm late" the glass doors were pushed by none other than Shen Xiaoting whose eyes were also swollen. Everyone was looking at her coldly, especially the other two close Chinese friends. "Why are your eyes swollen too, Ms. Shen? Cried over an animal too?" Kyungsoo asked that made Xiaoting taken aback. "What do you mean, sunbaenim?"

"Miss Yang also got puffy eyes and Ziyin said she cried over an animal last night" Xiaoting's face was still confused. Is Ziyin talking about an actual 'animal' or she's calling Xiaoting an 'animal'?

That kind of offended her but she got no rights to fight back. "A-Ah... I was watching a drama, sunbaenim. I stayed up all night and forgot about the meeting today..."
