"Vi-Vince doesn't w-want to g-go back out there..." Vince whimpered, "P-Party Poison gives Vince a r-really b-bad feeling..."
"Hey, Vince. It'll be okay, I'm right here. I won't let anything happen to you, I promise." you reassured him.
He hesitantly followed you to back out to the living room.
"Sorry for that, but we're back." you said Vince was wearing the hoodie you gave him with the hood over his head. "It's fine." Party smiled.
You sat back down on the couch with Vince who was hugging you, hoping that would be enough to protect you from that thing.
"So, about that park..?" Party asked. "What? Oh! I..." you hesitated for a moment but... "I guess..?" you said.
(Later)
You all get to the park and the tree was still gone. You sighed knowing your favorite tree was gone for good.
"Wait where's Party Poison?" you asked, looking around.
Suddenly you heard a distant growl-like sound.
You noticed the streets were empty. Almost no one was around.
Suddenly, there it was... The monster you saw. That... creature.
The one you saw in your nightmare.
You didn't know what to do other than just stand there, staring at that monster.
"I-Is that.. where P-P-Party Poison w-went...?" you asked, shakily.
You looked at Vince and saw him behind the tree stump, he looked terrified.
The monster slowly approached you, his walking slowly turned into running.
And before you knew it he, or rather it, lunged at you just like your nightmare
You screamed in horror as you saw your life flash before your eyes.
The creature tried to bite you but you managed to hold it back.
Vince looked out from the stump he was behind.
You pushed the creature off of you.
The creature ran off into the distance.
You sat up and looked at Vince. You wanted to yell at him for not helping but he looked terrified.
You sat down next to him and pulled him closer to you.
He wrapped his arms around you and hugged you tightly.
(Later)
You both got back to the house and laid down on the couch for a while and watched TV with Vince to calm down from earlier, but Vince was still upset about not helping you.
"Vince, it's okay." you kept telling him. "But... you c-could've gotten seriously h-h-hurt..."
"Vince, I'm fine. I promise." you said.
Vince hugged you tightly. You grabbed a blanket and put it over you and Vince.
You both fell asleep a few hours later.
