"Oh right" I said a little sheepishly "I'm y/n".
He smiled.
"So where are you from?" he said trying to do small talk.
"I'm from Canada but I moved to the states to study university" I said shrugging.
"You moved to New York?" he guessed arching an eyebrow.
I laughed and nodded my head.
"You look pretty young, how old are you?" He said.
"I'm 19 almost 20 depending on what month we are" I said smiling slightly, Steve Rogers was never in my top 10 favorites characters but interacting with him in real life has changed my opinion.
"And-" he was interrupted by the sound of people entering the room.
"There she is" Stark said moving his hand my way.
"Hi" I said, suddenly I started to feel a little bit overwhelmed by all these people watching me, who may I add we're also the avengers.
"You say you know where Bruce is" A woman who I recognized as Natasha Romanoff said.
I nodded intimidated by her tone.
"Wait you can't possibly bealive she knows" Stark said joining the conversation.
Natasha glared at Stark.
"I'm just saying".
She looked back at me.
"How do we know you are telling the truth, because the story that Tony told us doesn't seem credible" she announced.
Honestly, I didn't had an answer to that, luckily Steve intervened.
"I believe her" he said "and we should give her a chance to prove herself to us" he said determinedly.
"Ill go with whatever you think it's right" said a man who I guessed was Falcon.
Steve smiled nodding his head.
"Well then let's introduce ourselves" said Wilson walking towards me.
"I'm Sam Wilson and you are?"
"Y/n" I said smiling.
I walked toward Wanda and offered her my hand excitedly she has been my favorite even before her show.
She started at me and then smiled.
"Nice to meet you" she said hugging me.
I was shocked by the hug but quickly I hug back. Then she looked at Stark.
"She is not lying I saw inside her mind" Wanda said.
Stark narrowed his eyes "Maybe you saw what she wanted you to see" he said.
Steve ignored him "What do you saw?"
"Not much, something was blocking me, but I saw things only people that were on that situations would know."
"Like what?" said Clint.
"Private conversations, things about Steve that happen before he went into the ice, about the red room" she looked at Natasha.
"You went through my memories without my permission" I said a bit angry at Wanda.
Wanda look at me "I'm sorry but I had to make sure that you were to be trusted" she said.
"Well you could've asked instead of peering into my memories" I said annoyed.
"I'm sorry" Wanda says again.
Silence followed after.
"Um, well this is is awkward" said a voice from the back of the room.
I looked at the owner of the voice.
"James Rhodes" he said introducing himself.
"Can we stop the pointless introductions" Stark said, then added, "If she is telling the truth she should already know all of our names" he remarked.
"I know" said Rhodes as if it was obvious, "I was just trying to be polite."
"Anyway" I said "so now what?"
"You could stay at the compound" said Falcon.
"What!?" Tony stood up, "and who has decided that?" he demanded.
"Me and Steve while everyone were introducing themselves" he explained without caring about Tony's outburst.
"No no, not in a million years she will be staying here" he crossed his arms decided.
"Why not? Tony she it's not lying," said Wanda.
As they started discussing I started to realize that if this was real then a lot of the oplepe in this room will be dying in the future.
"Guys, I think I should tell you something" I said worried.
