Gaster's POV

Gaster: Téra n°1, no, Divine, I need you to show some cooperation here

I said standing before Téra n°1, also known as Divine. The room we were in was dark, I could barely make out his silhouette due to his dark skin

Divine: Gaster, stop it, it's no use, I am not telling you anything

I stated with convinction

Divine: What happens with the rest of the Téras if I do, huh? What reason would you have to not hurt them if I give up this little bit of leverage I have over you?!

Divine exclaimed as he yanked the chains that kept him on his seat in an unsuccessful attempt to attack me. I could hardly see his face in the darkness but I figured he was absolutely livid, thankfully he was much weaker now than when he first arrived due to the brutal nature of the experiments he had gone through for the better part of a year so he was too weak to do anything and since he was weak now it was time to get answers

Gaster: Divine, look at me

I said with a low and gentle voice as I knelt down to eye level to cup his face with my hands and stare right into his eyes just to mutter

Gaster: You've obstaculized my quest to seek absolute knowledge, I gave you several chances yet clearly, your stubborness knows no bounds and I promise you that you'll pay dearly for not giving me the answers I'm after and in the end, it'll all be pointless because I WILL find out, whatever happens from here on out it's on you

Divine froze for a second and scowled at me

Divine: Keep the Téras out of this, Gaster, I am warning you

I upon hearing this simply gave him the biggest shit eating grin I could, this made him to relentlessly start trying to break free from the chains that impeded him from attacking me, I flinched but stood my ground, this was all to further my quest, my purpose so I'd be the one to face him, I looked past Divine, behind him was a shadow, it had a tint of purple on it and was creeping on Divine, I shook my head to it and upon seeing this it stepped back and blended back into the shadows, I then placed my gaze back onto the téra just to right after be pinned to the wall by him as he tightly wrapped his hands around my neck

Gaster: D-do y-you really... think this will c-change anything...?

I said pausing my speech to get some air, I was running out of it fast, my next words could either be my salvation or the death of me, I had to choose my words wisely

Divine: Maybe not but you seem like a valuable asset to the army, the loss of you should be quite major, we may find opportunity in the chaos

His grip quickly tightened, so much I could feel my consciousness slip away, thus making use of those last moments of lucidity I came up with the one low blow that could stop him on his tracks

Gaster: K-kill me, but... it won't... bring him b-back...

Silence insued for a few seconds and Divine suddenly let go of my throat making me fall to my knees and gasp for air as I massaged my now aching neck yet he seemed like the one who had gotten the short end of the stick because he suddenly froze struggling to process my words, I couldn't quite dicern his expression but it was clear millions of thoughts were going through his head, by the looks of it I hit the nail in the coffin, something I couldn't help but smirk at

Divine: Gaster, who are you talking about?

He inquired his hands shaking as he grabbed me by the shoulders, watching how hard a time he was having keeping himself under control
