Adam Banks ~ I literally hate him

Hockey was my favourite thing in the world and Adam Banks was my most hated. I hated how good he was at hockey and the fact he knew he was good. I was pretty skilled myself- probably the main reason we clashed so much.

I joined the ducks to be part of Team USA and little Banksie was intimidated by how good I was. He had always been the best on the team and I threatened that position and he didn't like it.

So we're basically enemies since then, sometimes I think it's a pity cause he's kind of hot but then I remember he's an intolerable jerk.

Don't get me wrong, we play well together and forget our rivalry during games, neither of us would let it effect the game we love so much. But once that game was over it was back to name calling and snide remarks. And that's how I liked it.

All the other guys on the team thought we were ridiculous for always bickering and hating each other instead of appreciating how similarly skilled we were at hockey but now since Adam made varsity at Eden, they're not so crazy about him anymore, especially since the whole fancy restaurant fiasco last night.

"I've been trying to tell you he's evil but everyone always thinks I'm dramatic" I tell the team as we all sat around a table in Mickeys diner, trying to come up with a plan to get the Varsity back. They just laughed at me. "I would hardly say he's evil y/n." Guy said patting my shoulder "Believe me I see evil in those eyes."

Finally we had come up with a prank to get those jerks back, except I realised something. "Hey Cake eater doesn't live in the dorms, how is that gonna get him back?" I demanded "Look it gets the rest of them, if we have to leave Banks out then so be it" Charlie explained.

"No way! I want him pranked too." Charlie chuckled at me "Yes because you have this weird love/hate relationship." I looked at him I disgust "I literally hate him." This time Connie laughed "Sure you do, I totally see an enemies to lovers vibe with you guys." I felt like puking.

"I couldn't imagine anything worse." I stood up "Fine I'm gonna go get Adam back myself." I declared "And how ya gonna do that?" Russ asked, clearly amused "I dunno.. I'll.. punch him or something." They all just laughed at me as I stormed out the door towards Adam's house.

Once I reached his house I knocked at the door and after a few seconds he answered the door.. with no shirt on. Holy shit don't look at his abs whatever you do, do not let him know he has any kind of effect on you.

His hair was wet so one could assume he was fresh out of the shower. "Like what you see?" I broke out of my thoughts to see his stupid face smirking "Definitely not." I replied.

"Then what do you want?" He asked crossing his arms. "How it's going traitor?" I diverted his question with one of my own, putting emphasis on the traitor.

"First of all, I didn't know before it was too late and second of all, it's not my fault I made varsity. I think you're just jealous that I was good enough and you weren't." I laughed bitterly. "Or maybe coach just thought you'd fit in with those jerks." I reply back. "If that's what'll help you to sleep at night, then you keep on thinking that dollface."

I paused, I didn't like the tingly feeling I got when he said that. I shook those thoughts away. "Look just remember I got my eye on you-" He smirked "-And if you do one more shitty thing to the team, they won't be able to stop me from fucking you up. Got it?" I smiled sweetly at him and the little bitch had the audacity to still be smirking at me.

"Why don't you just give it a rest with all the insults and threats? Finally admit you like me maybe?" Is he actually serious? "That's a good one Banks really." I said fake laughing "Why the hell would you think I like you?" He smiled at me, he had a nice smile. I would never tell him that though.

"It's obvious, It confuses you that you have the hots for me cause you're so jealous that I'm better at hockey so you just insult me instead." I was gobsmacked he would even suggest something like that. "I've never heard such bullshit in my life!" I shook at head my head at the thought of me liking him of all people.

He came up close, too close for my liking "So if I was to kiss you, you wouldn't like it?" My heart starting racing "O-of course not." I was getting flustered "You're so annoying." I said storming off while he just laughed. Ass.

Okay like I might make another part to this one cause there's not much action in it but I feel like it was going on forever so I had to end it 🙃
