All Charlie could talk about the last while was Coach Orion, stupid coach this and stupid coach that.
I know he's my boyfriend but he's honestly kind of getting on my nerves.
Like I get that Coach Orion is a jerk but I don't need to hear about him every 5 minutes, I have to deal with him enough during hockey practice.
"...Bombay would never let that happen." I tune back into the conversation. Oh god he's still on a rant. "Charlie just shut up." He stopped talking immediately. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me. I'm sick of hearing all about your shit with Coach Orion, I don't like him either but you don't hear me going on about it all the time." I rant on. I'm probably being harsh but I've been holding onto this for awhile so now I'm bubbling over.
"Well I'm sorry for thinking my girlfriend would care about my problems and how I'm feeling but no problem you won't hear another word from me." He walks to the door. "At all!" With that he slams the door.
Well that escalated badly. I should have just kissed him to shut him up, at least then we wouldn't have had a fight.

It's been 3 painful days and just like he's said, I haven't heard from Charlie. I really miss him and I'm really regretting shouting at him. I just boiled over and couldn't keep it in. He overreacted too in my defence.
Unfortunately we're both stubborn, so neither of us are going to give in and talk to each other.
"Hey Y/n." Connie interrupts me out of my thoughts. We're all going to the public pool today so Connie is coming over to get ready with me and go together.
"Hey Connie, how's it going?" I reply throwing on a smile even though all I wanna do is mope.
Of course my best friend can tell though. "Still not talking to Charlie?" She asks smiling sadly in sympathy. I shake my head to indicate a no. "I don't know maybe I should try talk to him." I tell her.
"Even though you didn't do anything wrong and he's the one acting like a child?" She questions me and I just shrug.
"You should definitely wear your new bikini to the pool. Charlie won't be able to resist talking to you." I laugh at her. "I doubt it but I'll give it a try."
I change into my the bikini I bought the other day and look at myself in the mirror. I guess it does look good on me.

"You look so hot. He won't be able to resist." Connie squeals and I laugh at her.
"Thanks Connie. Yours looks great on you too, Guy wont be able to resist either." I smirk at her as I throw on a T-shirt and a pair of bicycle shorts.

We get to get the pool to see everyone already there, of course we were fashionably late.
"Hey Guys." Connie greets them once we walk up to them. I just smile to say hi.
"Took you long enough." Guy says walking up to Connie and giving her a peck. I wonder if the guys are expecting Charlie to do the same to me, they're pretty oblivious so I doubt they've even noticed that we haven't really talked during practice the last few days.
I assume he won't bother to greet me so I move to sit down on a free lounger without giving him a glance.
Luckily I don't think anyones noticed the awkwardness between us as they all go back to talking about god knows what.
I relaxed back in the lounger for awhile enjoying the sun and listening in to the guys babbling on until I heard Julie call me "Y/n are you coming in the pool with me and Connie?"
"Sure." I get up pulling off my shorts then my t-shirt. "Damn Y/n where were you hiding your smokin' hot bod all this time?" I heard Dean shout over to me making all the guys stare at me.
I felt a blush creep up on my face feeling their eyes on me. Thanks a lot Dean.
"Shut the hell up Portman." I look up straight at Charlie, surprised that he even said something.
"Sorry man she's hot." Dean shrugged and jumped in the pool. That dude does not give a shit.
Everyone goes back to whatever they were doing and Charlie walks towards me. Here's my chance to apologise I guess.
Once he's in front of me the words just tumble out. "Charlie I am so sorry for what I said, I obviously should listen to you and acknowledge your feelings and I'm really sorr-" I'm cut off by Charlie's lips on mine.
He pulls away, too soon in my opinion. "Sorry I just needed to shut you up." He gives me he's cheeky smirk. I respond by pushing him into pool.
I laugh at his shocked face and jump into the pool myself.
"Even?" I say to him. "Even." He grabs my hips and pulls me in for a kiss.
