"Why do you want to bring back your parents?" blondie broke the silence.
My forehead creased as I try to look at his face, only to be greet by the harsh blazing sunlight. He's so tall that he almost look like he could reach the sky.
"Because I love them? Dzuh! " I answered sarcastically.
The three dude exchange glances at each other. Blondie shake his head while Dionysus let out a sigh. "Alam namin ang totoong dahilan, binibini. Gusto mong bumalik ang iyong mga magulang dahil sa pera. " bago ko pa maitanggol ang sarili, dinugtungan niya ito kaagad. "Huwag ka nang magsinungaling. You can't lie to Gods like us." mutawi pa ni blondie na ikinainit lalo ng ulo ko.
Problema niya ba? Aba, mas alam niya pa ang nararamdaman ko keysa sakin. Edi siya na magaling!
Hermes told us last night that there's a famous restaurant behind those huge rock formations. Nagulat nga ako eh kasi sino ba naman ang matinong tao na magtatayo ng restaurant sa kalagitnaan ng disyerto. Nasobraan ata sa pagiging introvert. Ngunit aniya, isa raw itong restaurant na tanging mga espiritu at kakaibang nilalang lamang ang dumadayo. Since I'm a spirit as of now, maaari akong makapasok sa sinasabing restaurant.
"And we're finally arrive!"
Umawang ang bibig ko dahil totoo nga ang sinasabe ni Hermes at hindi siya nag c-clout chasing. There's a legit restaurant in the middle of two huge rock formations. Based on its exterior design, you could tell it was built around a thousand centuries ago. The huge door in front of us is made out of wood, and it has a circular handle that you have to either pull or push. Hermes knocked three times on the door before a lady dressed in ancient Greek dress greeted us with a loving grin.
"Oh, it's been awhile your highness." magalang at mahinahon na bati ng babae tsaka yumukod ng kunti. Teka, tinawag niya ang tatlong mokong na 'to na your highness? Parang di naman bagay. Psh, that name suits me better than these guys.
"You must probably be a soul on a trial. " baling niya sakin. Maangas ko siyang tinanguan. Baka akalain pa niyang napaka brutal at walang kapatawaran ang kasalanang nagawa ko kaya ako andito.
"Come, take a sit inside."
Iginayak niya kami sa loob kung saan mas lalo akong namangha.
All the table and chairs are made out of dried sand. Above it are countless of gleaming lanterns that illuminates the whole area. A mini stage can be seen in front. Next to the door is a long wooden staircase leading up to the second floor. What I love the most on this place are the red candles scattered around each pillar. The smell of some meat burning lingers around my nose. Gosh, I badly want to take a bite of whatever it is.
The lady led us to the center part of the area where we're literally few feet away from the mini stage. Katabi ko si Dionysus at magkatabi naman sina blondie at Hermes na nakaupo kaharap namin.
