Adriana

"Dad has a lot of cars for no reason. Two makes sense because one's for when we go somewhere as a family and is kinda messy and the other one can be for himself, that he keeps clean."

"I agree. Though he does love his rolls royce," I counter

"ok. 3. BMW, Mercedes and Double R. Flavia and I aren't allowed in the Royce. He only uses it at banquets or Gala's. Whatever rich important people go to," Ethan shrugs beside me

We drive through downtown to the Restaurant that we'll be meeting Amanda and her daughters at.

"Do you miss school?" I ask

"No. Kids at that place think they're entitled to everything... I think I might ask dad if I can homeschool. I'm so much happier here then I was there," he tells

"You do go to the most expensive private school in the city, it's not a shocker," I say

"True, but they need to be humbled. Sure dad spoils us, but he makes sure we're humble. These kids have maids and have people at their beck and call. Some of these kids have never even been in their laundry rooms. I have to do my laundry every weekend, by myself. I have to clean my own room, they have maids. They think they're better, not knowing my daddy can buy out their daddy's company with the snap of his fingers," he rants

"And that's why you gotta be better then them. Don't show it with money, show it with smarts. You are a wise kid, Ethan. Put them in their place with class. Be the top of the class and athlete of the year. Show them who you are... respectfully," I tell him as I pull up in front of the restaurant

"Respectfully," he mumbles, nods his head

"Think about it... Now let's go get some lunch. I'm starving," I say turning off the car.

I open the door and hand the key to valet.

"Be careful with that car... my dad's a cop," Ethan says

I chuckle and shake my head. "And if you need to... use the fact that your dad is a rich and important. It may get you somewhere, people get scared of power very easily," I tell him as we walk into the restaurant.

There's a bit of a line as we wait and the cold. The restaurant is popular for lunch. It's located in Yorkville of downtown.

"I know it's random, but I wanted to tell you, because I trust you, but if you haven't realized or noticed, I'm trans. Female to male. Dad knows I'm gonna tell you but he didn't know when," Ethan rushes out, beside me.

"Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me," I immediately pull him into a hug. "Is it supposed to be obvious? I wouldn't imagine you wanting it to be?" I ask

"It's not supposed too. It's mostly obvious by my voice, but that'll change in May when I start Testosterone," he explains

"I think your height diverts it. Also a lot of boys are late when puberty hits, so I didn't think too deep about it... Anything you need, I'm here. Need me to fight anyone I'll do that," I tell

He laughs and hugs me again, "Thank you."

"Of course," I smile

"Adriana! Come, don't worry about the line," I see Amanda by the door.

We follow her into the nice restaurant. It's full of chatter as friends and business workers meet for lunch.

We get to a table near the window. Amanda's daughters, Faith and Harmony, sit at table. Harmony seems to be watching her older sister draw on her IPad.

Harmony looks up at me and gasps, "Auntie!"

"My girls! I missed you!" I hug them both when they get up. "This is Ethan. He's gonna join us for lunch," I introduce
