𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚// 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙! 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙭 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕

You smile down at the sleeping child cuddled up to your side, giving you a sense of comfort.

It's already morning, and you don't want to go and pick up corpses and bury them.

The sight of the dead makes your stomach churn in disgust every time.

If you could take Teddy and leave this hellhole, it would be better.

But, it would be considered kidnapping as he is not your child, to begin with.

However, you are sure that you can't stay here as a servant to murder like father nature.

While being deep in your thoughts, a familiar figure barges into your room, uninvited.

That figure belongs to a very furious Father Nature.

You stand up quickly from your bed.

"Who allowed you to drag my child to sleep beside you?!"

You frown deeply at the personified entity, finding him to be very rude.

"Teddy told me that you allowed him to sleep in my room" Nature snorts in mockery.

"Well, obviously, he lied" his eyes turn towards his son.

"Isn't that right, Teddy?"

The child opens one eye slowly, to look at his father from the corner of his eyes.

When he sees you and his father looking at him, he quickly closes it and snores loudly.

Pretending to be asleep to avoid trouble.

You turn your attention back to Nature, who is annoyed by his son's behavior.

"Listen, I don't mind to have him around-" Nature cuts you off.

"But I do mind him being around a pity human like yourself" he points a finger at you.

"You are not his mother"

His words hurt you, the way he said it made your heart hurt.

"No, she is my mama!"

Teddy exclaims, jumping out of bed, clinging to you tightly.

"Stop being mean to her!"

Teddy argues back with teary eyes, afraid that you might disappear.

"Don't worry, everything is ok" you comfort the child gently while Nature rolls his eyes.

And snatches Teddy away from you, bringing him to his side.

"He is not your son" Father Nature repeats.

"Why are you against me being his mother? Does he even have a mother?" you demand.

"Yes," you raise an eyebrow at the reply.

"Who?"

Nature smirks slightly, his eyes glinting with mischief.

"Me"

Your mouth almost drops in shock, not believing that he is serious.

"What...How?"

"I'm his mother, and father as in I don't need to mate with anyone to have my children"

You let out a sigh, before looking back at Teddy whose face is now red with tears.

"Who is your mama?" You inquire.

"You are" Teddy exclaims, pointing his finger at you.

Father Nature chuckles softly, before grabbing you by the waist.

He presses your body against his own, while Teddy is between the both of you.

"Oh dear, you will have to put more effort than that to become the mother of my children"
