You stand in your place, traumatised by the sight of blood, which now taints your skin.

But Father Nature bursts out in laughter at your terrified reaction, enjoying every second of it.

"Don't worry, that's not human's blood, I was just joking" you let out a relieved sigh at the news.

"Then what is this?" you ask, calmer now.

"Bathing in bird's blood keeps me refreshed"

You are shocked by his answer, trying to process what he just told you.

"Wait a second, aren't you Father Nature? Shouldn't you be protecting animals?" You point out with an accusing voice.

Nature rolls his eyes at you as if you just insulated logic with your reasonable question.

"Ever heard of the food chain? Animals serve my proposes, If I collapse, the whole animal food chain crumples and falls" he explains.

You raise an eyebrow at him, before crossing your arms over your chest.

"Why are you giving me that mocking look? Did I say something funny?" you chuckle at him.

"No, it's just that you keep calling me a weak human, yet, you also have a weakness" you tease him, pointing a finger to his chest.

Nature only smiles instead of taking offence, he grabs your finger slowly.

You get nervous, thinking that he is going to break your finger.

"Of course, everyone has a weakness except for the creator, darling..." He lets go of your finger and continues

"...No human, animal, or even me and my children are immune to weakness, this is just the way of life"

For the first time, you stare at Nature with an admiring glint in your eyes.

You are curious to hear more, but it seems like a certain child decides to interrupt his father's lecture.

"Papa, you killed my birdies again!" Teddy shouts angrily while holding dead birds in his hands.

You almost forgot that Teddy represents the animal kingdom.

"Teddy, no tantrums or I will punish you" Nature warns his youngest son.

The said child only bursts into tears, while Nature doesn't move an inch to comfort his child.

But you quickly take action and rush to your 'son' before picking him up into your arms, trying to calm him down.

"It's okay, Teddy, how about mama help you bury those birds in the garden" Teddy pouts at you.

"Well, those birds go to heaven, mama?" you smile at him.

"You will see lots of beautiful birds in heaven, sweetie"

Father Nature watches the whole instruction.

He doesn't like your parenting skills, so he simply chooses to ruin the moment.

Nature walks up to you and his son, before snatching the birds from his hands and throwing them away.

"No, Teddy, those birds only turn to bones after the ants and worms feast on them"

With that, Father Nature walks away, leaving his now-wailing son in your care.

"You are so cruel, Nature!"

Yes, indeed, you would make the perfect mother for his children.

However, Father Nature doesn't know that his favourite son, Cedar, has other plans in store for his wicked father.
