𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏

"You still haven't answered my question, who are you?" you demand after your kidnapper lands gracefully on an empty area, away from the eyes of others.

"I'm Cedar, and I'm Nature's favourite son" he introduces himself.

"Why did you save me back there? I mean I'm grateful, but why?" Cedar shrugs at your question.

"I don't know, I just felt like Father Nature is pressuring you, so I did what I did" you raise an eyebrow at him.

"I'm sure he will find me soon and force me to return with him" you state with a dull tone.

"I apologise for what has happened to humanity"

You are shocked by his sudden apology and the change in his expression. 

"I tried to warn father that this is not the best choice, but he said that people are too corrupted to give up their ways" Cedar explains.

"Do you think that people were too corrupted?"

You don't know why, but hearing his opinion on things makes you feel relaxed to know that he doesn't agree with Nature's doings.

"Many innocent people died, but they are in a better place now, with God"

You smile slightly, as he looks at you with sympathy.

"I can help you hide away from him if you wish to" you title your head at him.

"How?" Cedar smirks.

"I have my ways, how do you think I keep myself hidden away from him?"

Suddenly Cedar gets shot into both of his wings causing him to let out a shout of pain.

And before you could even react, a bag is placed over your head before getting knocked out and carried away.

You open your eyes slowly only to find yourself laying on a bed in an unfamiliar place.

Three men are in the room, holding weapons while looking through some papers.

"Who are you three?"

Your voice attracts their attention making them turn in your direction.

They look close to your age, maybe a bit older, have handsome features and strong bodybuild.

But you feel like they have been living in the wild for days due to how messy their clothes look.

The tall one with brown hair replies to your question.

"We are Nature's number one enemies"

The man with dyed dark purple hair and eyebrows sits on the edge of your bed.

"As for why we kidnapped you, well, we just saved you" you shook your head.

"Where is the guy that was with me? What did you do to him" You inquire, worried for Cedar.

The third man which has blond hair replies with a grin.

"Oh the bird-like entity, we cut off his wings, and he's bleeding to death in the other room"
