Sherlock
"Here are all the available books we have on the different effects of tobacco use." You said before Sherlock and John spoke. This left John hanging. He asked, "How did you know we were gonna borrow books about that?"

"Obviously John, she deduced." Said Sherlock, deducing you as well. "He is correct." You confirmed, surprised at the taller man. "It was quite simple, sir."

"I'm afraid that's all the books we have about the effects of tobacco use. If you can't find what you're looking for, there's a bookshop down the street with other books about it." You added to the two men.

"We'll take these. Thank you." The taller man smiled at you, grabbing all the books. You nodded at them as they walked away. A realization dawned unto you.

"Excuse me, but are you not Sherlock Holmes?" You called out to them. They stopped and the man, Sherlock Holmes presumingly, turned to you. "I wondered how long it would take you." He smirked, confirming your suspicions.

"Well then," You smiled warmly, "The library is open to you and Dr. Watson. Your blog is quite interesting as well. The Science of Deduction."

Sherlock turned his attention to John after your compliment. He said triumphantly, "Well John, it seems people do read my blog."

"Alright, alright. You win this time but I bet the next person we meet hasn't read your blog."

Before their conversation could escalate further you stepped in, "Please take your time and return the books in good condition. If you need any assistance, I'll be here." You gestured to your spot.

John smiled at your welcomeness. "Thank you!" He said. Sherlock followed soon after, "Ah yes. Thank you, Y/N."

"Just how did you know her name?" You heard John ask as they found a table. "As ever, you see but you do not observe! The pin, John!" Sherlock exasperatedly exclaimed. You quietly giggled at their antics as you continued placing the books.

John
With John in tail, Sherlock entered a large building. John took in a deep breath at the sight. He was overwhelmed, he hadn't noticed Sherlock running off to the receptionist. John managed to get himself together by the time Sherlock called out for him. Together, they walked inside an elevator and Sherlock pressed the "25" button.

After an eternity, the elevator doors open and Sherlock steps out with John following. They took a left then a right and another right until they reached a door with the words ANALYST engraved. Sherlock as he is, barged in without knocking, leaving John mortified and following him immediately. He was about to scold him on it when a voice spoke,

"I am currently occupied." John looked at you and what he saw took his breath away. A moment, he had forgotten about your voice.

"Even for me?" Asked Sherlock in the most babyish voice he could muster. John felt like he was living in a dream when he heard Sherlock. That was when you looked up at them. The first thing he noticed was your eyes. Your eyes bore in his until you redirected your attention to Sherlock. From one look alone, one could tell you were svelte. Slender and elegant.

Once he remembered how to be human again, John introduced himself. "Hello, I'm-"

"Dr. John Watson. Yes I am... aware." You drawled out with a polite smile. One scarily similar to Mycroft Holmes'. This leaves John baffled. "What- How did you know?" He asked. He was only met with a raised eyebrow and an amused face.

Your attention turned to Sherlock, questioningly.

"I need your help with a case. This has all the details you need. Read it and tell me everything." Sherlock explained, handing out the file in his coat. When he meant everything, he meant either the most important details, proof or the short version. You took this evenly and began what you do best: Analyzing.
