In a quiet part of town, where nobody really pays attention, there was a medium brick building where the most amazing animals were sold. These weren't your normal pets. You could go anywhere to find a dog, cat, fish, or bird. These were fine for your normal little boy or girl to love and then bury in the backyard. But if you really wanted a lifelong companion, then this was the place to go. These animals lived for a whole human lifetime because these animals were hybrids.
In this brick building, the line between animal and human was non-existent. Animals of all types are available here. Lions? Tigers? Bears, oh my!
Not just anyone can enter this pet store. You can only go by invite. No one knows how one secures an invitation there. But they are some of the most prized invites in the city. To receive one is to declare that you are trusted and worthy. Only the best are allowed there.
Or so they say.
