9| a party seriously?

Olive

it had been a two months since Vinnie and Olive's interaction at the skate park, the pair had not spoken since. However, it had also been a month of Olive and Lukas' talking and flirting and tonight was their second date, which happened to be taking place at a sway house party, if only he knew the events that would occur tonight.

"okay, the black or the blue?" Olive asked her sister whilst lift the tops up to show her, "Umm, black definitely, and then wear that fur jacket with the black pin stripe pants." Kat smiled at her, "God what would I do without you?" Olive laughed, "have bad fashion sense?" Kat laughed back. 

"So, it's your second date, and he's taking you to a party, seriously?" Kat said with an argumentative tone, "chill out, i asked him if he wanted to go to the party with me thats all, plus you'll be there so who cares?" Kat shrugged in response. "That's what I thought, now let's go take pictures" the girls giggled whilst entering the living room.

Vinnie

The thoughts couldn't escape Vinnie's mind, you should have tried harder, it had been a month since he saw Olive and he knew he should have done more than just hug her. And now here he was getting ready for a party he knew she wasn't going to attend, they weren't her scene, their whole relationship she said that going on a date at a party was ridiculous and she would only do it if she thought it was the only way the person would stay with her, he laughed at this thinking she was joking, she was not.

"YO VINNIE LET'S GO THE PARTY STARTED THREE HOURS AGO!!!" Bryce banged on his door shaking him from his thoughts. "Coming now dude." Vinnie said as he exited his room making sure to lock his door. As he walked down the stairs his eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar brunette it was however, not the one he wanted to see but instead her sister. She turned her head up towards the stairs locking eyes with the boy, glaring at him whilst she walked towards him. 

"Vincent" she said coldly, "Katerina" he said in the same tone. "So how's Arizona?" Vinnie asked the girl, "It's fine, it would be better if I could see my sister more often but here I am, at a party with her and she ditched me for her boy toy within ten minutes" Vinnie's eyes widened at her words. "Oh don't act so shocked we both know you know whats going on with her and Lukas King, as much as I dislike you, you didn't make my sister go to these stupid things, and you seems to be the only person here that I know so let's walk shall we?" Katerina said as she started walking, Vinnie not far behind her tail, "So this thing with Olive and Lukas is serious? I just thought it was a few flirty messages over instagram comments." Vinnie asks "You and me both Vinnie, you and me both" she said as they walked towards the backyard.

"I'm going to tell you something but you can't say anything okay?" he nodded in response, "he made her get snapchat" this is what really shocked him, "he what?" Katerina rolled her eyes, "he told her that it was ridiculous that she refused to have snapchat, and she should just go on ghost mode," Katerina said rolling her eyes again, which Vinnie met with an eye roll himself, which Katerina saw, "Yeah I know right I heard him saying it to her at her apartment and when I went to say something she told me don't worry about it, i should stop being a baby about it, like what a dick right?" to which Vinnie responded "Yeah he does sound like a dick" which made Katerina chuckle, "you know kid even though you did what you did I know you treated her better than that, and I also know that you wouldn't have done it to her without damn good reasoning which I expect to hear when you're ready to except what you did." Katerina said as she saunted off into the party scene. All Vinnie could think about now was how he was going to get Olive back.

  

Olive

"So do you want a drink?" Lukas asked me once we were settled at the party, "Yeah, uh that would be great thanks" Olive smiled as Lukas nodded heading towards the drinks station. Olive looked up only to be met with the familiar eyes of her ex boyfriend who was staring at her. "Vinnie, hey" she said awkwardly staring at the boy, "hey, I ran into your sister, she told me about Lukas." he said to the girl, "Oh yeah he's not boyfriend " Olive smiled, "That's cool, i gotta head off now but see you around Ollie" Vinnie waved running off after he saw Lukas returning

"So what were you doing talking to Vinnie?" Lukas questioned the girl, "Oh he was just letting me know he saw my sister, thats all" the girl smiled at her date. "Oh yeah that's cool, he's an alright guy I guess" "Yeah he's not terrible, just made some mistakes like every person." Olive shrugged. "Would you ever get back together with him?" Lukas asked "Not unless he could prove to me that I should take him back, which he won't so shall we get partying?" she chuckled. "Yes we shall" Lukas said taking her hand.

A few hours had passed Lukas was now out in the back porch talking to some guys from his high school leaving Olive on her own again. "hey stranger" Vinnie's voice interrupted her silence, "oh hey" she responded patting the space next to her telling him to sit down, "so I've been thinking" Vinnie says sitting down next down to the girl, his words intrigued her, she raised her eyebrows. "I've been thinking about how we should get back together, I know I hurt you so bad, like so bad you wrote an album about me and I promise I would never do it again I love you Oli-" he words are cut off by a sharp sound, he places his hand over his cheek now realising she just slapped him, "Vinnie you can't just break my heart and then walk over and tell me all the reasons we should be together, life's not that easy, and sorry for slapping you so hard but you deserved it" She blinked at the boy. "What will it take then?" he asked. "That's for you to figure out, but for now I'm on a date Vinnie so shoo" she waved him off.

ok i did it again but anywho, hey y'all its only been a few hours but how are you all? are you enjoying the book? the storyline is starting to really get going. i thought olive slapping him was really funny, i'm in a writing mood so there most likely gonna be another chapter, but also i left my glasses at my boyfriend's so if theres something wrong its night time and i can't see at night lol. bye lovelies <3
