(A/N): I hope I'm not late.

I'm sorry to everyone. I know we've been through a lot. It was an exciting adventure. I just posted this story as a test and a part of my rebellion to my strict parents. As I didn't want a math related course. I knew I didn't have a talent in writing but I love reading. So out of curiosity if I would have readers, I posted this story. But I don't think I would stay committed throughout. I'm really really sorry.

___

During the plaza incident, nobody was hurt. No bloodied corpses were loitering around. The secret organization who caused the terror was shut down.

The bombs were found immediately. Redika was captured.

Through the efforts of the crown prince, Alberu Crossman. As well as Cale's group.

Everyone rejoiced as they looked at the heroes of the incident outside the plaza as they were evacuated earlier.

Cale was looking at the scene with serene eyes. She was happy. She was very happy.

Nobody was hurt.

No one died.

And she didn't cough up blood.

She turned her attention towards her brother who's holding a sword he had picked up earlier.

He was looking at the scene with shaking eyes. His eyes were a bit teary with a small smile on his lips. Naine is undoubtedly at peace at that moment.

He closed his eyes for a bit and opened them again.

He's now fully smiling.

He turned his excited gaze at Cale.

"Cale! You did it!"

Naine immediately hugged his sister.

Cale smiled at him. As she hugged him back.

One of her despair was resolved at that moment.

"I didn't do it alone-!"

Cale couldn't continue her statement as she felt her world darkened. She could feel her body fall from Naine's hug. She could also hear her brother's horrified shout.

"CALE!"

Her world darkened at that moment.

-Cale!

A voice that reeks of death echoed. Cale jolted awake from the voice. She eyed the place, only to find she was lying in a black room without windows.

"What happened? Why am I here?"

Cale asked. She was sure she was with them moments ago.

She was hugging Naine a moment ago then she felt her body slump. Then she's here.

-It was a mistake on my part. I failed to protect your soul in the process of transferring you back. I'm sorry my child.

"What bullshit are you saying?"

Cale couldn't help but curse at the god of death, as he didn't answer her question.

"Just bring me back. The test wasn't finished, right?"

Cale glared at her surroundings.

Death didn't answer. Silence enveloped the area.

"What?"

Cale needed to go back. She needed to go back and complete the test. She needed to help Naine.

And she needed to get her reward. She helped save the plaza right?

-There's no need to go back, my child.

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

Cale was puzzled. Why can't she go back to them?

-That place was just a figment of someone's imagination. It was never real to begin with.

"Excuse me?" Cale couldn't believe what she's hearing.

'It wasn't real?'

'How?'

'I felt them. They were real. They were living. They were warm...'

She had witnessed how the people of that world lived. Persist. And survived. They were trying their everyday best. They were warm. They were breathing. They were alive.

The warmth she had felt was real. That place can be considered as her second home. Yes, she was home. In the arms of Naine.

Naine.

-The sealed god selects a dream from someone worlds apart from you and makes it real through a dream.

-Cale, you have been dreaming for the past months.

It was all just a dream.

None of it was real.

Naine was just a dream.

He was not real.

He was a figment of that person's imagination.

"Haha..."

A dry laugh emerged from Cale's mouth.

'So, everything that I, no, we've done together was fake?'

"Bullshit."

Cale couldn't help but curse.

It was too nice to be a dream. It was too real in fact. It was too warm. It was too realistic.

Drip.

Cale didn't know but warm tears escaped from her eyes.

She was crying.

"Damn. It was too realistic."

Cale covered her face at that moment.

Records played inside her mind.

Her first meeting with Naine. How he took her lease from her. How charming he is when he drinks that sour shit. How handsome he is when he's basked in moonlight and sunlight. How kind he is to everyone. How he treated her with kindness and gentleness...

"Fuck!"

'This is too much...'

Naine wasn't real. His kindness was fake. His gentle smile was nothing more than an imagination.

This story is not real.

Thus, it had to end here.

"What a shitting goodbye..."

Cale cursed as he returned to his original body.

End.

...
