You felt like you couldn't breathe.
You pushed through the woods running as fast as you could.
Your chest felt like it was about to explode.
You heard the growls and snarls behind you.
You gasped for air and jumped in bed.
You calmed down when you felt the warmth of your husband's arms around you.
"You okay?" Xuimen asked you gently.
You nodded but didn't notice that you were shivering.
Xuimen sat up and stared at you.
He rubbed your arm in soft circles.
"Yeobo..."
You wrapped your arms around his strong chest and took in his scent.
His arms were so strong but they were so gentle with you.
You looked up into his eyes and saw them glow red and saw the wolf in him.
You saw the wolf that loved you more than anything and would protect you until his last breath.
And you would do the same.
"I love you." you whispered.
"I love you too." he replied.
