You sat at the head of the boat, staring out at the sea before you with your knees pulled up to your chest

You:...it's my fault you died, Sasha. If I had done more that massacre would've been avoided

Onyankopon: welcome to the continent of Marley! I'll guide you to the Azumabito estate

Hange: Onyankopon!

Onyankopon: I'm glad you all made it! What do you think of Marley's biggest port!?

You were all invited by the Azumabito's to come to their estate in Marley, you were even dressed in nice suits and dresses with matching hats

You: Hange got to wear a suit, why can't I?

You've been wearing overalls and pants since you were a kid so wearing a dress was a new sensation for you, but Armin said you looked beautiful the split second he saw you wearing it, so your putting up with it

You: [come on Section Commander! It's literally just a dress]

You covered your nose as an automobile drove by with smoke coming out of it

You: [gross...]

Connie: Wha-!? That horse! Or...is it? Huh?

Sasha: it's some sort of cow! It has to be!

Hange: it's a car! I've heard about them before

Knowing Hange, you turned and walked off as she began calling after the car

You: who was it that said not to draw too much attention? Right that was Levi *sighs* 

You were looking at all the people walking around talking amongst themselves, feeling a bit overwhelmed you twisted your ring on your finger until someone suddenly grabbed it

You: huh?

Armin: there's alot of people around, I don't wanna get separated from you so let's hold hands like this okay?

You: eh? Sure...

He pulled you along by the hand out of the crowd, you stared at his back until you noticed that something was different

You: [I've gotten taller again, thank goodness]

Armin: quit spacing out, Eren! We're in the outside world!

Eren: yeah...this is the other side of the sea...isn't it?

You: [seriously? Talk about wet blanket]

Levi: hey! Stick with the group. Especially you two

Just as he said that a woman passed by and looked at you with horror before speeding off

You: people can see what I am from a glance huh?

Mikasa: they don't know anything Y/n, they can't possibly know anything just by looking at you

You: anyone who's Marley born and bred would know! I told you I should've stayed back home. The Azumabito are already uncomfortable enough in my presence as it is

Mikasa: we explained it to them already! Your not anything like what they're afraid of!

Armin silently traced words agaisnt your knuckles, a small reassurance that he was by your side

Sasha: whaddya standin' around for? We've got exploring to do!

You: y-yeah

Sasha dragged you away from Armin and into the crowd, sniffing for food until you both stopped infront of a food stand
