A little more time has passed, after Hange finished with the interrogation she filled you in on what she was told

Armin: Eren will be eaten

Hange: yeah, Eren remembered  a conversation that went like this...

You remember the conversation well, it was moments before the scout regiment came to save you

Ymir: do you resent me for it?

Berthold: I'm not sure... I...don't know, you probably didn't want to eat a human either

Hange: speculating based on that, Ymir was a Titan wandering alone outside the wall, Berthold, Reiner and Annie had a comrade that she ate. When a Titan eats someone, they don't change back into a human but what if a Titan ate one of Reiner's comrades? They're humans who can transform into titans. In other words, if a titian eats someone with that power, they revert back into a human

Your eyes widened at that and your head stared running wild

You: [my mom was eaten by a Titan when I was born, and as far as we know I've had my Titan ability for years, if what Hange is saying is true, then mom was...I ate.... ]

You covered your mouth and stared down at the table in horror

Hange: furthermore, they obtain the power of those they eat. In the other days battle, Reiner was throwing Titans at Eren who had escaped, Eren has the power to control Titans with his screams, he was trying to search that power with those Titans
In that case, Eren is just a vessel who is bound to be replaced. Basically, if the government has a Titan of their own, they'll be the one to eat Eren.

Mikasa was about to rush out but Levi stopped her

Levi: calm down, even if you go on a rampage, they're not going to give Eren back to us, anyways, we head for the lands of this Rod Reiss. Get ready to leave at once

Everyone: yes sir!

Everyone started making their way out the room, you followed behind Armin, your hands drowning in cold sweat while your heart was practically beating against your ribs

You: [It was me, I'm the Titan that killed mom!]

Time Skip

You were walking through town with Mikasa, Armin amd Jean, to get supplies to bring back to Levi and the others who were hiding in the woods, while you walked you heard something about a murder and a manhunt was going underway, meanwhile you were still trying to convince yourself that something else led to you becoming a shifter and you weren't your mom's killer

Armin: Y/n, we're going

You were staring at the crowd, still lost in thought but you were snapped out of it when Armin grabbed your hand

Armin: are you okay?

You:...I'm fine

He pulled you by the hand towards the others, and continued to hold you hand on your way back

Jean: captain, we bought the supplies

Armin: the Military Police were handing out these, if it's true, the scouts will be disbanded, I heard they'll be hunting for us tonight, they're also putting guards on all the. Italian roads, and its impossible  to get through without a pass. Captain, what now?

Mikasa: if we don't hurry, Eren...

Levi: calm down, they're using a wagon, it'll take at least a day to reach Reiss' territory, we'll have to use that time to come up with a plan
