When you first met

You wandered off somewhere and you ended up at a house outside the village so you just knocked on the door and to your luck, it opens revealing a woman and a little girl about your age that looked just like her

You: hi I'm sorry to bother you but I was walking around and I kinda got lost do you know the way back to town?

Lady: Oh you poor child here come in it's kinda late

You walk in seeing a nice looking living area you look around with a smile

You: you have a nice home

Mikasa: thanks I'm Mikasa

She held out her hand you gently take it still smiling

You: that's a pretty name nice to meet you, I'm Y/n

Lady: it's not often girls Mikasa's age come here maybe you two can be friends

You: yay! New friend

You hug Mikasa shocking her for a moment but she hugs back

You: oh boy your my first girlfriend Mikasa! Maybe fate has brought us together! We're gonna be great friends!

After she got kidnapped

You were running to Eren's house after finding out that Mikasa now lives with him and her parents were murdered you were halfway there when you saw her walking with Eren you jump on her back a few happy tears in your eyes

You: Mikasa I heard what happened! *jumps off her and turns her around* Are you ok!? Did they hurt you!? Those bastard aren't still alive right!? Please tell me you guys killed the bastards!

Mikasa: can down Y/n they're dead and I'm fine

You hug her again and swing her a bit

You: oh I should have been there I would have made them see hellv*sees scarf* huh this is Eren's scarf, aww did he give it to you as an "I love you" gift!?

Eren: shut up Y/n don't say things like that!

You: oh it's not true, cause I can already see you two happening

Eren: stop

Mikasa: Y/n it's not like that I was cold so he put this on me

You: he likes yo-

Mikasa: Y/n stop

You: yeah okie

You give her advise

Mikasa: Y/n do you know...why Eren always leaves me behind?

You: Mikasa

Mikasa: it's like all I can do is try to run after him no matter how fast he goes but he runs so fast it's like he doesn't need me

You: Mikasa!

She widens her eyes at your raise of voice

You: I hate it when you sound so helpless your like this sleeping lion that won't wake up!

Mikasa: Y/n?

You: look if you want to be with Eren then don't give up on staying by his side! I get it it's like your repaying him for saving your life but if he runs no matter how fast you keep on chasing him, your the mama lion Eren is the cub, the fire in your life, if he runs too far you wake up and catch that fire and once you catch it, don't you ever let go no matter how much he wants you to, protect what you care about, that's what makes you...you...okay Mikasa?

Mikasa: y-yeah okay

You pat her head and smile at her

You: now your fire is getting too far away you better go catch it

She gives you a hug before running after him you dust your hands feeling proud

You: bestest best friend ever

What Mikasa is to you

You: I would never trade our friendship if it was life or death, it's weird when I think back on it, when I first met Mikada I never knew she would mean so much to me, I can't do anything without her, she is the person that builds my strength and helps me through my rough times, she may not be my sister by blood, but she's my sister by heart

What Mikasa is to you

Y/n has always grounded me, she reminds me of what's important when I'm too worried about Eren. There's just that one spot in my heart no one else can fill but her, and I'm grateful for it.
