Naoto hachioji: The Spider-Man

A lizard Lurks Pt.2

Naoto went to school the morning after the incident on the bridge and he was heading to the art room, where nagatoro, gamo, yoshi, and sakura were.

Naoto: Oh hey. What are you girls doing here?

Sakura: They told me that they're still waiting on those photos of spider-man, ya know from the deal a few weeks ago?

Naoto: Oh yes. Here * hands them pictures.

[ pretend hes wearing the new official suit ]

Gamo: Damn, these are legit.

Yoshi: Legit.

Nagatoro: I can't believe you got these senpai. How are you always able to get these good pics?

Naoto: Simple: I believe.

The girls raised their brows as naoto smiled, but he then went to hjs book bag and grabbed another photo, which was snatched by nagatoro who teased until she saw what the photo showed.

Gamo: What the hell is that?

Naoto: I don't know, but whatever that thing is; it attacked the bridge and it would've killed someone if Spider-man hadn't shown up.

Sakura: It didnt try to hurt you did it?

Naoto: No. No, i was hiding behind a car. Im good at hiding.

Naoto then regretted having said that because after that, gamo and yoshi began to tease him. Instead of giving them the reaction they were expecting; naoto had just thought about the creature, what was it? Why was it on the bridge last night? He knew there was one person who knew most about reptillian creatures; Doctor. Curt Connors.
After school ended he decided to head to the most prestigious college: Tokyo Institute of Technologythe doctor . He was excited to see what peop continued to search and search until he found his lab. He knocked on the door and earned a response.

Martha: who is it?

Naoto: Um, im looking for Doctor Connors?

Martha: opens the door* I'm doctor Connors.

Naoto: Oh, im sorry i mean Curt Connors.

Martha: Thats my husband, do you need something from him?

Naoto: My name is naoto Hacioji, im a sophomore at Kazehya high and work for the Daily Bugle. I was hoping your husband could help me, because last night there was an incident with a giant cre-

To naotos surprise, the doctor's wife had started crying. Confused naoto asked what was wrong.

Martha: Im sorry * sniff* the creature is or was my husband...

Naoto: What? How could that be?

Martha then explained how doctor connors had lost an arm in the war, and was studying reptiles ability to regenerate limbs, the night before he had made serum that was able to give him his arm back, but the side effects were horrifying. As the serum turned him into a giant mutant lizard. Naoto stood there shocked and worried for the doctor as he listened to the story.

Naoto: Thats terrible. Im really sorry that happened.

Martha: You have nothing to apologize for. I have been trying to make an antidote to bring him back, but i dont know how to find him or how ill get him to take it...

Naoto: I have an idea doctor connors, you keep working on that antidote, and I'll call in on a special friend of mine, he might be able to help.

Later in naotos room
His suit lying on his bed, webshooters on his wrists and naoto was in his computer looking at the maps linked to his spider tracer searching for the lizards sightings.

Naoto: I hope this works. I slipped a spider tracer on the lizards tail when I swing kicked him. So Im really praying for the tracer to work.

The next day
Doctor Martha connors was heading to the location she was requested to go. Hesitantly entering the alley she stood there looking around until she heard a vouce coming from the wall.

Spider-man: Doctor connors? Dont be afraid, naoto Hachioji is a friend of mine, he told me about what happened to your husband. So I'm here to help you.

Martha: Why are we here?

Spider-man: * jumps off the wall and lands infront of a sewer entrance* i slipped a tracer on doctor connors to locate him. And if my tracer is right he's right beneath us in the sewer. So if you give me the antidote I'll ll go find him.

Martha: I wanna go with you.

Spider-man: Just stay here. it's too dangerous down there.

Martha: Thank you spider-man.

Spider-man opened the sewer hatch and nodded heading down to the sewers to find doctor connor. Crawling on the wall to avoid falling in the sewage however that plan was short lived as a Large Tail swung at him sending the hero flying off of the wall and in the sewage.

Spider-man: Eugh! Ill never get this smell outta my suit! Doctor Connors are you in there?

The lizard lunged at spider-man trying to kill him, but the hero dodged every attack that was attempted to hit him, the lizard then stopped as he heard marthas voice. The lizard then lunged towards her non threateningly.

Martha: curt it's me do you remember me?...

As martha distracted the lizard spider-man swung up and grabbed the lizard injecting the antidote in his neck. The lizard then groaned in pain and crashed in the walls losing ballance, as this happened the scales and tail started to fade away and the arm started to fade too. The lizard was turning back to human.

Martha: Curt! You're back!

Curt: Martha, im so sorry. I couldn't control it....

Martha: Your arm its gone.

Curt: It's okay. wasnt worth it.

Martha: rest curt, and spider-man? I want to thank you and hachioji so much.

Spider-man: you're welcome. Let's get you two home.

The hero helped the Connors get out of the sewers and swung away after the drove away heading home.

The hero then swung home and washed his suit 6 times to get the smell out, then showered 6 times to get rid of the swer smell and bacteria. After that he plopped on the bed and looked at the pictures he snuck in the sewers goong through them he caught that the camera also took pictures of martha and curt, so wanting to keep their secret a secret he took each picture showing martha and connors and ripped them, remaining only the pictures with Spider-Man and the Lizard.

Mother: Naoto Dinner's ready.

Naoto: Coming mom.
