I made my way back to my apartment after classes ended. After Shota's class I couldn't concentrate on any of my other lessons, too busy processing everything and planning out my little tricks to make him want me again. I already sent Mina a text to meet up at her room to help me plan something.

I had to be quick with these though, because I had my work shift in a few hours. I already skipped work yesterday with Dabi and all that, but I couldn't keep doing it again. I need the money after all, and I also kind of miss my co-worker.

When I arrived at the apartment, I was greeted with loud music coming from Mina's room. I placed my keys on the coat rack along with my jacket and my way inside the apartment. And there she was, laying on her stomach on the bed, kicking her feet to the rhythm of the music while scrolling through her phone. Some snacks were placed on the desk beside the bed and her closet door was wide open.

Mina noticed my presence and turned around to greet me. "Hey girl, I was waiting for you," She sent me a smile and stood up from the bed to grab my hands for me to sit on the bed with her.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting." I said while getting comfortable in my place, grabbing a bag of chips and opening it.

"It's okay. Now, tell me why you need some fashion advice?" Mina spoke with excitement. I've never been interested in dressing fashionably or anything, so me telling Mina to give me dressing lessons was something rarely seen.

"So, remember that hot guy I told you I hooked up with two days ago?" Mina nodded at what I said, so I continued. "Well, he's my English teacher," She audibly gasped and widened her eyes. "Yeah, and he told me to forget sleeping with him and that will never happen again."

"What!! NO!" Mina yelled, it looked like she was more invested in what was happening in my life than the shitty reality shows she watches on weekends. "So that's why you asked me for clothes? You want to show him what he's losing?" Her expression changed from disappointed to expectant, if you ever had boy problems, Mina was the perfect person to go to. She always knew what to do.

"Yeah, basically." I said, still eating from the bag of chips. Mina stood up yelling in excitement and jumping all over her room. Going straight to her closet bringing out all types of clothes. I chuckled at her demeanor, she got so excited with everything that had to do with clothes.

"So what style are you going for? Some sexy mini skirts? Or an innocent preppy girl?" Mina said while showing me clothes and tossing them to the bed and skimming for more clothes in her closet.

"Mmm, something sexy but not so revealing but cute, you know?" I said, checking the shirts and skirts laying on the bed.

"I know exactly what you're talking about." Mina reached once again, for something in her closet and took out exactly what I was picturing in my head. It was perfect, this will surely make Shota rethink what he said, I couldn't wait for tomorrow to wear it.

"Thank you so much, Mina. This was exactly what I was looking for," I said, taking the piece of clothing from her hands and bringing it closer to me to take a better look. "I need to go get ready for work but really, thank you for your help."

"You're welcome, girl. That's what friends are for." Mina finally said, cleaning the mess of clothes on the floor and bed while I made my way to my room. I wasn't quite excited to go to work but I did always have a good time with my co-worker. He always found a way to make me laugh, such a nice guy.

I was walking to the cafe I work at. I was lucky enough to find a place near my apartment with flexible work hours and a nice co-worker. The pay wasn't the best, but it was enough to cover the rent, college tuition and put food on the table. Now that I am back at school, I was planning on working part-time, from 5 p.m to 11 p.m. on weekdays.

I approached the back door and opened it. I was greeted by Keigo, my co-worker, waiting in the break room for me. He was a couple years older than me and just graduated from college, we've been working here for a while so we're good friends.

"Hey nugget, I was waiting for you." Keigo cheerfully said, I sent him a smile, he was always in a good mood and it was contagious. I placed my belongings in my locker and put on the cafe's apron, tying my hair so it wouldn't bother me while working. I made my way to the front part of the cafe with Keigo following behind me.

Thankfully, there wasn't anyone at the moment, so I opted to clean the counter humming happily to myself.

"Someone's happy," Keigo said with a smile on his face. Maybe my excitement for tomorrow was showing a little too much. I turned around to face him and showed him a smile of my own.

"Yeah, a little." I said honestly. "I just started school this week by the way." I was quick to change the topic since I didn't want to tell him the 'I hooked up with my professor' gossip, that would be kind of weird.

"Oh so you'll be working part-time now. Are you excited for school?" Keigo asked me with a grin on his face. He was like the older brother I never had and whenever I needed someone to talk to, he was always there for me, though he loves to tease me.

"Yeah, I guess. Not for waking up early though" I tiredly sighed. I regretted going to sleep so late yesterday when I knew I had to wake up early today and now I still have five hours left for my shift to end, at least Keigo is here with me.

"Oh I almost forgot. Keigo, can you cover me for like three hours on Friday? Some friends invited me to a party," I asked him while putting down the rag I was using to clean the counters and tables and turned around to look at him.

"Of course, nugget. Go have fun, you know you can give me a call if you need a ride or anything," He said with that usual smile of his, I grinned at him too and nodded my head.

"Yeah, I know. Thank you."

The rest of the shift went by fairly quickly, between joking around with Keigo and the occasional customer that stopped by, the clock ticked eleven and it was time to close. Keigo told me he could lock up and that I better go home before it got more late because streets are dangerous late at night. He was right and I thanked him for it. With my pepper spray in hand and my phone gripped tightly in the other, I made my way home. It was a short ten minute walk but it felt longer when everything was silent and the air was cold hitting against my exposed skin.

I was eager to get to my apartment and go to sleep, I couldn't wait to see Shota''s reaction to what I had prepared. He's going to regret saying what he did earlier today.
