After the Attempt

****Sonny's POV****

***Beep, Beep, Beep...***

I slowly was opening my eyes and realized I was no longer at home.
I was sleepy, my throat hurt, and I was trying to remember what happened
I felt oxygen going up my nose

"Sonny."
I looked to my right to see Olivia

"Hey Sergeant."
I said

"How are you feeling?"
She asked coming up to the side of my bed

"Sleepy."
I said

"Do you remember what happened?"
Olivia asked

I closed my eyes a minute and then remembered

"Yeah, a lot happened at school and then I sorta had a break down. I took a bunch of sleeping pills."
I said

"I'm really sorry."
I added

"Sonny, no. It's we're just glad you're ok."
Olivia said

"Your mom is in the hallway, we called her. Just a routine I talk to you before we have her come back in."
Olivia added

"Who found me?"
I asked

"Fin and Sophia. Sophia actually contributed to you being alive now."
Olivia said

"Wow."
I said

I felt embarrassed Sophia seen me however I was

"Why don't you take the rest of the week off and it won't be any penalty to you. You can come back Monday if you feel up to it. We just want you well."
Olivia

"Thanks. I really appreciate it."
I smiled

****Sophia's POV****

I was in the hallway with the Squad feeling guilty about everything that happened with Sonny

His mom was off looking in his room window
She seems like a nice woman, I haven't spoke to her.

Olivia came out of the room and gestured for his mom to go in and she ran right in

"How is he?"
I asked concerned

"He's awake and drowsy but seems alright. He'll be off until at least next Monday."
Olivia said

"Wow."
Is all I would get out

"Sophia you did a great thing today and none of this is your fault."
Olivia said

I just started crying

"I feel horrible."
I said

Olivia pulled me into her chest and hugged me

"It's ok, it's ok."
Olivia kept repeating

****Sonny's POV****

Thursday Afternoon

"Dominick I'm really worried about you, I never would have imagined you doing something like this."
Serafina said

Mom was cleaning my apartment up and straightening up everything, she didn't want me doing anything but in her words "rest."

"Ma, I'm sorry. I guess I just sorta snapped."
I said

"I'm glad that Lauren is out of your life, you're better off without her especially after all this. I really liked the squad you are working with. They are nice and professional people."
Serafina said

"Yeah they are."
I said

"How do you feel about going to school tomorrow?"
Serafina asked

"I don't think I'm ready yet."
I said
