I stared off into the distance as Cactus's words echoed in my head:
"As you wish"
I looked at him, wondering what he meant, and noticed that he had cried himself asleep. His head was resting on my shoulder and he was gripping my fore-arm tightly, even in his sleep.
The back of my head itched, recognizing what he said and sorting through my brain files, trying to find a meaning. This mystery, like all of them, annoyed me. I gasped, remembering a scroll that I had read years ago.
Does he.. love me?
