Tomura remembered  little of those days. All he could recall is vague memories of pain and dizziness. The only occasional relief was when Dabi put a cool piece of cloth to his forehead. His head also hurt Dabi said he had a fever. Due to his injury Tomura was in and out of consciousness. They rode slow to not open his wound and so that Tomura could hold onto his horse without falling.

Tomura could tell from the desperate look in Dabi's eyes he wanted to speed up. He could also tell from the man's worried gazes at him that he was worried for Tomura. Tomura didn't want to worry him. But the truth was Tomura also worried about his condition. He wasn't getting any better. If anything he was getting worse between the wound, pounding headaches, and fever.

Tomura told Dabi not to worry about him. They needed a doctor and fast. They didn't have the time to take the trip slowly. At first Dabi had disagreed hating the idea of pushing Tomura. Tomura fell off his horse that next morning not having the strength to hold on anymore. It was decided the by both of them they would make the trip fast.

Dabi put Tomura in front of him on his saddle. Tomura leaned against the horses neck his back against Dabi's chest. They rode at a fast run until around midday when the horse tired so much it couldn't run anymore. "What about Void?" Tomura asked over their evening dinner.

"If we don't get her back I'm not to concerned. Someone will find her and use her." Dabi said trying to relieve Tomura's worry. Tomura wanted to protest saying she was important to Spinner he stopped by putting a hand on his head like that'd stop his pounding headache. Dabi sighed he wished their was more he could do.

They eventually reached the doctor at the pace they'd set. He was a solitary man some say he had gone insane. He lived alone in-between the Light and Void kingdoms. Some say if you asked him to treat you he'd preform experiments on you. Tomura and Dabi had a laugh about it. It couldn't be true could it?

Tomura felt a shiver go down his spine at the thought. They had arrived at a lone log cabin in the middle of the forest at the end of the Void kingdom's land. Dabi got off first he grabbed Tomura carefully he set him on the ground. Tomura had his uninjured arm slung around Dabi's shoulder he helped him walk up to the door.

Dabi knocked hesitantly he knew he was being paranoid but he couldn't help but think he'd be a prime target for experimentation. He looked weird to most people and it was a miracle he'd survived that fire that almost claimed his life. Dabi swallowed nervously shifting from foot to foot as he heard footsteps approaching from behind the door.

"It's okay we'll be okay." Tomura said trying to reassure his friend. Tomura winced he smiled slightly, "Okay you might be okay." He joked. Dabi sent him a glare for the joke but at least he stopped shifting back and forth nervously.

Both men stiffened when they heard the door creak open. They were prepared to see some old creepy man. To their surprise and shock he looked almost like a ordinary man. He was blond and had what looked like stitches running down his forehead. "Welcome come in it's been so long since I've heard company!" He said motioning inside with his hand.

"Get out of here ya losers!" The man shouted startling both Dabi and Tomura. Despite his outburst he still held the door open for them smiling politely. "You can sit here." The doctor said he pointed to a couch against the wall in the living room. They both sat down Dabi eyed the man distrustfully.

"My name is Twice. No it's Bob. Twice." Twice said he sat down in a office chair that was in front of his desk. "Okay Bob." Dabi said trying not to snicker. The man shot Dabi a glare he stopped he was still a little afraid of the rumors he decided it wasn't in his interest to laugh at him.

"What is the issue?" Twice asked pulling a clipboard out of no where. Dabi blinked he swore he hadn't seen that anywhere a second ago. He shook his head thinking he was seeing things. Tomura told the man that'd he'd been shot, the headaches, and fevers. Twice didn't ask how he just wrote that stuff down.

"Let me examine the injury." Twice said standing up he walked over to Tomura. Dabi scooted away uneasy he glared at the man the whole time. Tomura took his shirt off he let the man examine the injury. "I diagnose you with being shot." Twice wrote scribbling furiously down on his clipboard.

"We just told you that!" Dabi said annoyed. He didn't want to trust this man with Tomura's life. He wouldn't trust him with a healthy goldfish. He was supposed to be a doctor. But he was also the only doctor they had. Tomura wouldn't last another trip. So hesitantly he let him care for Tomura.

Twice opened back up the wound. At first Dabi was going to kill him. Twice told him to sit Dabi didn't. Twice explained how while the wound had been closed which helped stop blood flow it had been done sloppily. Dabi sat down with a huff glaring at the man for his wording.

"Hey, how you feeling?" Dabi asked Tomura the next morning. He was laying down in the couch he was able to sit up with the help of pillows. "Better than I have been. Twice gave me some medicine that made my headache recede a little bit." Tomura said he was smiling lightly. He still felt like crap but he felt better than he had in days.

"That's good just get better." Dabi said he kissed Tomura on the head. Dabi expected to get growled at instead he took his hand holding it in his lap. Dabi felt a blush rise to his cheeks as Tomura brought Dabi's hand to his lips kissing his knuckles. "Just repaying the favor." He said smirking.
