There had been no sight of Brad, I was hoping he'd be gone for good. I was tired of feeling so afraid all the time.

"Babe, are you listening?" Brian asked, waving his hand.

"Oh, sorry I zoned out." I said.

"What has been going on? Is it Brad still?" He asked.

"I don't know. I just feel afraid. He can come out anytime." I said.

"I know. I'm sorry you're feeling like this." He said.

"I'll be fine soon." I said.

"Have you thought about maybe trying to get your mind off of it?" He asked.

"I've tried. Nothing has been working." I said.

"Well, you haven't been out of the house ever since they fired you from Target." He said.

"Yeah, I just feel to afraid to go out alone." I said.

"Let's get away. Let's go somewhere that will relieve all the stress." He said.

"Like where?" I asked.

"I was thinking maybe somewhere in California like San Diego or something. Somewhere kinda close to home." He said.

"That sounds like a good idea." I said.

"Alright then it's settled. We'll go in a few days." He said, smiling.

I smiled. I did really want to get away for awhile.

The next few days I spent packing everything and sorting out hotel stuff with Brian.

"I'm really excited to spend time with you." I said.

"Me too." He said.

"We should probably head out while it's still early." I said.

"You're right." He said, grabbing our stuff.

We packed the suitcase in the trunk and I looked over and Brad was standing there.

"B... call the cops." I said.

Brian nodded, secretly calling them as Brad still stood there.

"Trying to run away aren't ya?" Brad asked.

"No, we're just getting away." I said.

"To where?" He asked.

"None of your business." I said.

"Oh dear Kendall... you might've forgotten I still have your location." He said.

I remembered. I always gave Brad my location and never turned it off.

Just then the cops arrived and arrested Brad.

"Thank you." Brian said.

"Of course." The officer said.

They also found a gun in Brad's pocket, god only knew what he would do if the cops hadn't come.

"Let's go." Brian said, getting in the car.

I nodded, getting in the car.

"It's okay, he's gone now." Brian said.

I smirked, kissing Brian as we headed off to San Diego.
